Our roof was damaged by a small torandao back in February. Superior Design & Restoration did a free inspection and determined our roof sustained enough damaged and needed to be replaced. Ed Webster came to our house and walked us through our options and worked with our homeowners insurance company to ensure everyone was on the same page for repairs and overall cost. A couple weeks later the crew showed up at our house and knocked out the roof replacement in a day's work. After looking over the work the next day we noticed a vent that was not properly nailed down and the gutters were not cleaned out as promised. We contacted the job manager who showed up to our house and inspected the work and agreed with our findings. He then contacted the crew and had them to our house within the next two hours to fix the issues. All in all we are  very happy with our roof replacement by Superior Design & Restoration.

Guy was very helpful in determining the issue with our roof as well as working with our insurance company and adjuster to get the roof replaced on our house.  Communication from the office was pretty good as well.  They definitely kept me in the loop of what was going on.  I think I probably spoke with someone from each department at one point or another.  So far so good and we are very happy with our new roof.

Well, to start they called me at 2am in the morning. No this is not the problem but actually the opposite.

I placed a inquiry to the business explaining the damage to my home and not 3-5 minutes later they called me and asked when’s my next availability I said “come in a few hours” her response was we will be there.

Now at this point I’m skeptical but happy of how attentive they were right out of the gate. This very professional looking guy and a trainee I guess he said wanted me to sign a paper to allow them on the roof and get this “free inspection” done.

Yeah I said “free” they have this awesome ladder that looked like a transformer or something and went up there found significant damage to my roof and ball parked me roughly 15-18k for the 25 year shingles or something idk anything about roofing but I know I have a problem needing fixed.ASAP.

I didn’t have that laying around and you know my dude said insurance sometimes helps pay I’m like well shoot that’s cool let’s try it.

He said “we don’t try, we make it happen” and I was like you guys have a customer for life if I can get some help paying for this.

I mean superiors project manager even met my adjuster from my insurance .I have State Farm and the adjuster was like I know these guys they have a “superior” reputation and that definitely set me over the top.

If the insurance dude is aware of the service they provide and commented positively on them I knew then I made a great choice. I was going to use them anyway. If I had to pay I would hope they could finance but then, when they started the project “on time” which like no one ever does.

They were nothing short of perfection roof looks amazing it was done in one day I mean on a Saturday these guys are up there smacking away just wonderful feeling that was.

I took the family out for a few hours and came home to a architectural 3D dream design. Then I’m like okay where’s the bill for this he said this is what we talked about nothing extra for this shingle.

The insurance paid for full replacement so everybody make sure you have this option on your policy’s.

He also informed me I needed to be up to code or something so I got like a ice dam barrier or something (I didn’t even know that) now it’s warmer and cooler in the home at the right time it’s suppose to be.

and they had to remove my gutters to install it so I got gutter out on with the caps and when I got the bill they said we can finance what you owe if you don’t have it.

I’m like at this point where do I go to make this known to people because you guys are nothing short of amazing.

They actually sent me few things of roses because the dumpster guy put it on my flower bed and left. Not superiors fault and they sent them anyway.

Mr Superior design  I’m in love with your customer service do you do anything else inside the home so I can have you over here for some great service again.

And they did I had waterproofing done a little mold in the basement band that price was awesome. I’m sorry I didn’t tell them but I got a few quotes for the work and they were very competitive for both jobs they did.

The environmental team is currently the best group of guys I’ve seen work in unison since
ray lewis, and Ed Reed. And we  know how that story ends but I would like to say I appreciate everything you guys did.

The project manager asked me not to mention his name here because they are a team and work as such. That’s so humble he wants his teams recognition not his. Awesome people

Sorry for the e long review but I have to say what I went through with you guys and how you made it so easy for all the things you did to my home. My PM from the job called to re-inspect I said I trust you guys I’m sure it’s fine so they insisted and well there was a screw missing on my gutter when they put them back it’s not a issue but the guy got out his ladder and put it back in. Wow!!!!! Still awesome!

I would recommend Superior Design and Restoration for your home energy audit and services.  Mike D performed a complete home performance energy audit and explained everything in layman's terms.  He completed a prioritized list of energy efficiency improvements I could make to my home after checking my entire home, including my air system, exterior walls, basement/foundation, and attic.  The audit he put together included each item to be addressed, the reasoning they could be improved, and my estimated annual savings.  He was always punctual, professional, and respectful in my home around my family.  He was even very responsible, making sure my animals did not escape the house when he was performing the audit.  I would trust him to perform any work on my home.

My experience with Superior was in 2017.  Overall, I am pleased with the result.  They certainly know how to shepherd you through the whole process of dealing with the insurance company.  Brian Keller of Superior was very friendly and responsive.  They did a fine job on the roof itself.

The reason I didn't give them 5 stars is probably not their fault.  This year we experienced an issue with a portion of the substructure of the roof (sorry that I don't know the exact terms...but it was pretty expensive).  Technically, it probably wasn't part of putting on a new roof.  But it was likely in bad shape when they did the work in 2017, and it would have been nice to have it taken care of at that time.

So I would recommend asking Superior to make sure to look at the whole roof situation and at least tell you if there might be extra work needed - even if it's not covered by insurance.  Then at least you'll be aware and can make an informed decision.

So I had at least 2 or 3 contractors offer to do roof damage estimates over the last 6 months.  Of the 3 Superior Design & Restoration beat them all hands down from beginning to end.  They took their time with me, answered all of my questions to my satisfaction and were very professional.  Their staff was easy to work with both inside & outside the office.  My main interface was Guy Cox & he was great.  He has tons of industry knowledge that he leverages on behalf of the customer (me & you).  I challenged Guy a lot along the way\through the process and he never took offense to my posture, was very patient with me and spoke in terms I could understand.  Any concerns, or questions I had along the way were promptly addressed.  They have a very good BBB rating and I would strongly recommend them to friends and family, which I have done several times.   I don't think you can go wrong here!

After much delay due to weather and our insurance company, Superior did my moms roof and inside drywall and paint today.   IT WAS DONE IN ONE DAY!   The staff was professional and friendly and conscientious.     The job was completely amazingly.  Clean up awesome and care to our home and gardens excellent.    I would use this contractor again for sure.... thanks Keith, Guy, Dominic, Shawn and Tony- and crew - you have one happy customer.
