  Don't know if he's any good. We never got past the interview stage. He"s a one man show (hope it doesn't rain) In the interview, he really felt a righteous entitlement in deserving “his” 1/2 bid money up front, even before doing any work. I actually sensed an anger in him, when I said NO - And his was a job for Labor Only - I told him that in California there's an actual consumer protection law that limits what a contractor can ask for as a deposit. 10% or $1,000 of the bid, which ever is less. He says to me: "WELL THIS IS OREGON ! " So, end of story
