We’re part of a townhome project in Aurora and the Aspen Group had been absolutely terrible. They’ve been irresponsible in obtaining permits from the city, halting work on our unfinished townhome on July 27th until August 12th. And it’s been spotty since. On July 27th they shut off the power to our block of units and somehow forgot to turn the power to our garage back on. I noticed on August 5th and contacted Beau Barney the VP of the Aspen Group after resetting my own breaker box. He came and looked at it and said he would make ab appointment with his electrician and would get it fixed. I don’t hear anything until I reach out to him on August 7th after our soffit collapsed in the middle of the night. He says he’ll contact the project manager on site and get it fixed immediately. I hear nothing, no crew shows up at my house. August 10th, I contact him again and he promises it will be done that day. August 11th, Beau promises he’ll come by with a crew and get it done. Crew actually shows up but doesn’t fix the soffit. I ask them at the end of the day if they’ll fix it and that the VP told me it would get done. They give me attitude over it. It actually gets fixed August 12th after I e-mail Grant Parker, informing him that the information he received that “This phase of the project was 100% complete.” was false. Beau contacts me through e-mail saying he has been in constant contact with me, which is also false. I have been the one to contact him first, always. Yesterday, August 18th, I find a large hole in our porch (not pictured) and the power to our garage once again shut off. Beau assured me it would get fixed and I’ve figured out that if it’s not done by 4 on the day he “promises” it’s not getting done. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

As a Community Manager for numerous Homeowners Associations, it's extremely important to have a reliable, competent and professional "go-to" vendor that can address a wide variety of different issues. Aspen Group is that vendor for me, and Kyle Burbridge is an absolute delight to work with. He has conducted gutter installations, siding repairs, waterproofing and painting (to name a few) at my communities, and has always been extremely upbeat, communicative and courteous. If there is ever an issue, I know that he is only a phone call away. Aspen Group is always my first choice for projects, big and small.

I get that contractors are always on a time crunch, and are trying to get work done as fast as possible, but there was a lot of damage done to our house because of carelessness and concern over fast turn over time. They had knocked off a major portion of our drywall around our skylight while installing our roof. They had also been contracted out to replace our siding and they broke our AC compressor, and blew the electrical circuits in our basement and living room; all of this in the span of two weeks.I’ve spoken to the formen, the project managers, and superintendent, and it just doesn’t seem that they care to tell the workers to be a little more careful. I will also say that only after a lot of prying and consistent emails, voicemails, text messages, face to face conversations, is when my problems were resolved or fixed. Unless you want to babysit the work and constantly have to send requests to get damages resolved. I highly recommend a more professional group.
