  We haven't been able to get our gas fireplace working for years. Samuel came out and explained to me how gas fireplaces work. Looks like it may have been operator error combined with us having an old set up. He was able to get my fireplace up and running. It was such a relief! He was very informative and friendly. I would definitely recommend this company!

  Knowledgeable and professional service. Used A Step in Time for a chimney and fireplace inspection, and a dryer vent cleaning. The inspection revealed a chimney issue, so I used the company for repair. We had to reschedule a few times because of snow, but they were responsive and got me back on the calendar quickly. All the technicians were professional and courteous, and explained the issues and findings very clearly. I would definitely recommend A Step In Time!

  I highly recommend A Step In Time Chimney Sweep. Dylan and Samuel were phenomenal! They were professional with a good sense of humor. I requested their services because I needed my dryer vents cleaned. They went above and beyond with what they were here to do. Costco delivered a new dryer last week, and the gentlemen didn’t hook up the dryer vent hose correctly. Dylan and Samuel made sure the new hose fit properly, and they cleaned out any lent present in the duct and the old dryer hose, in case we needed the old one as a back up. I used their services last year to inspect and clean my chimney. Excellent job! I applaud the honesty and integrity this company displays. Thank you for your honesty.
