If you have chosen to use Texas Direct roofing you should have an inspection done of your roof. I was completely dissatisfied with the quality of the roof replacement. I have had my roof inspected and was asked if they used old shingles due to the extensive wear on the shingles. I have documented nail pops, cut shingles, and poor installation. I am requesting a new roof. I have also scheduled Owens Corning to come out to verify there is no defect with the shingles and that the damage was created by Texas Direct Roofing. They also do leaky gutters.

I used Texas Direct to remodel our new home we purchased.  I had a very strict and quick turnaround and they were able to get everything done on time! They communicated with me daily and anytime I called or texted, I got a response quickly. Ben was great! I would recommend Texas Direct to anyone looking for any of the many services they provide.

The whole process of getting a roof inspected and replaced can be super overwhelming. Melissa (who I spoke with on the phone) was so fantastic about answering all my questions, and was even available to walk me through my bill and a couple of insurance questions. This business is top notch!

With the past few storms we had on consecutive Sundays this past June 2019, we experienced some leakage from our roof into our bedroom ceiling when some shingles had been blown off our home.

Having resorted to needing an immediate request for help, I searched the BBB website for local roofing contractors with a good history of customer service being among the various criteria for contact.  This would prove to be the best thing I did for our home.  Among others displayed was TX Direct Roofing. I used the BBB online tool to contact all the selected contractors and the last one I contacted was TX Direct.  Two others replied and could not get to me until later in the week and the first to contact me by phone was TX Direct.

As luck would have it, I was talking to the office when the Project manager, Aaron Woodhouse walked in and said he could be here in 15 minutes. Upon his arrival in a marked pickup truck, Aaron went to work immediately to secure the sections of roof exposed, estimate the amount of repair to be done (in this case replaced) and proceeded to help me contact my insurance company to file a claim and get the process to fix the roof started.

This is where it took the longest to get accomplished along with an estimator on site later that week to give the insurance company his best estimate of damage.  After all said and done and the length of time it took just to get approval, I decided we waited too long and were at risk for further damage so we decided to replace the roof since it was not done well, was 10 years old and we probably wouldn't meet the 2% deductible. Again, TX Direct stepped in and the next week we got a new roof, 30 year quality shingles and a good warranty from Certain-teed and TX Direct in repair labor.

The project went well with Hector from M&G Construction doing the hard part of the roofing install and especially in 90+ degree heat. We had little damage from falling tiles and nails and cleanup was as described in the estimate contract as well as covering our AC units we recently installed in 2017 at great cost, so our investment was protected. The materials installed were of better quality than the previous roofers 10 years ago and the shingles heavy and solid.  The replacement roof was finished within the time frame specified and now looks great on the home. The vents pipes were painted to match the roof, the turbines work effortlessly and silently as opposed to a neighbors that doesn't move at all and when they do they screech!

We couldn't have been happier with the outcome. TX Direct's project manager Aaron Woodhouse was all that the BBB review report said and more. He really cared about our satisfaction and putting any fears about the install to rest. I must say that Hectors' installers were always gracious and in this heat, doing a good job can really be a chore and my wife and I want them to know we will be using them in fall projects I have in line for TX Direct to manage.

Complete roof installation. Very pleased with the professionalism of Matt and his team. Answered all of our questions. Really liked they did a complete removal of all of the old shingles and felt paper all they way down to the decking, performed a complete inspection of the decking and completed the necessary repairs to our 60 year old decking. All work completed in one day. Pricewise, the cost was about the same as other estimates we received. However, the other estimates did not include complete removal down to the decking. Highly recommend Matt and his crew!

Texas Direct had previously completed replacing a fence and roof/gutter repair for us.  We called them to inspect our roof following damaging hail in April, 2021.  Jeff O. came out the net day and suggested we call our insurance company inspector.  Jeff met with the insurance inspector to jointly inspect the roof.  Not only the roof needed replacement, but damage also included garage door, fence, window screens, and gutters.  Replacement and repairs were professionally done "turn-key" on a timely basis.  I  appreciated the professionalism and attention to detail, including re-staining the fence and painting the garage door, by the friendly Texas Direct people.   I'll surely call them net time.

When I started my research I used the Dallas Country reports booklet they send you every year.  I thought I would review them and select a few, I did they came out, tried to hustle me and then I decided to use google.  I selected a couple more companies to provide estimates and ended us selecting this company as when Justin came out to estimate the job he was very professional and described the overall process and had an id-depth understanding of all the project phases.  I did challenge him as to their credentials in which BBB is one of many, but the deal was brokered on Justin's professionalism and overall business demeanor.   They also do everything electronically which is a big plus.  Their teams that responded were very courteous, ontime, and professional.  And that was especially pleasing as they do it right.  The after the job was done, Justin made sure everything was back to normal and of the highest quality.  I would recommend Justin and his team to anyone and am glad I selected this company.  The photos illustrate a quality product and you can see the attention to detail.

Jerrimy is the best! This was the only time I had work done to one of our house and I didn’t have to do anything. In the past I more or less had to be the foreman. Jerrimy took care of it all!

Five days after signing a contract on the sale of my home, I sustained major hail damage.  I immediately called Jeff at Texas Direct, and from that point on he worked with me through every step from inspection to completed insurance claim.  This company went above and beyond to make sure my necessary repairs were completed in a timely manner.  They helped not only with repairs, but also with my insurance claim when issues arose.  I would recommend this company for any and all home repairs you may need.  Their work is impeccable and their customer service is extraordinary.

I've needed roofs replaced in the past so knew what to expect.  After speaking to several companies, I decided on Texas Direct.  As the work progressed, I became more & more impressed and happy with my decision.  I have rarely experienced working with someone as professional, intelligent and thorough as Justin Garvey, the Project Manager.  He was here every day ensuring everything was done correctly.  I am very aware of details.  If I had a question or was not pleased with something, he took the time to discuss it with me and ensure I was completely satisfied.  He coordinated everything with the insurance company.  Ultimately all the gutters were replaced, house entirely painted, the fence stained.....and of course, the best looking roof in the neighborhood.  Justin is such a caring person, he even replaced the light bulb in my garage.  I could not praise Justin or Texas Direct more highly.

This company did a wonderful job on my roof, patio covers, and gutters. The project manager Justin Garvey was awesome-always keeping me informed and helping me understand the insurance claims reports. During the project it was discovered that the previous roof we had put on (by a not to be named company) had been installed incorrectly. Not only did they fix the incorrect work but made sure that damage to my siding (by the other company) was made to look like new.  I am very impressed with this company and highly recommend them.

We used Texas Direct roofing and construction after a hail storm for a total roof and gutter replacement. Aaron W. was my project manager and dealt with our insurance company and me whenever I needed him! He was always on time, direct and we felt very taken care of.

At the end of August 2020, we had a wind storm that caused lots of damage to our home. We needed to have the roof, garage, and garage door replaced. I had received a recommendation to Texas Direct Roofing and Construction. Our project manager was Justin Garvey, and he made everything as easy as possible when working with our insurance company. Everything has been completed, and our house looks brand new. I have a few more projects that I want to do, and I wouldn’t hesitate to use Texas Direct again!

I recently worked with Texas Direct Roofing to replace a roof and gutters damaged from golf ball sized hail. The experience from start to finish was extremely professional and the quality of the work was excellent. They also did a great job of cleaning up both mine and my neighbors yard of any debris left behind from the work they did.

Rob D. from the company contacted me promptly. He meet with me at a time which was convenient for me. He arrived early. After looking at my home he gave me a fair ballpark estimate. Once pen was put to paper, the verbal estimate he gave was very close to what the actual contract price was. On the day of installation, the roofing crew was here and ready to work as scheduled. Rob had told me he would be out of town yet a coworker would oversee the job. That employee was here also with the crew. The crew protected windows, A/C, bushes, etc...  They work continuously till complete. They were respectful of the neighbors with their radio, vehicles, and equipment. Once completed, they cleaned up the entire area and left my property in better condition than they found it. Overall I would highly recommend Rob D. and his company.  It was hard earned money well spent.

We interviewed and got estimates from 5 companies before choosing a roofing contractor.  Texas Direct (Matt) was in the middle as far as price, but where they really stood out was in their professionalism and knowledge.  They took the time to obtain accurate measurements and identified where they could improve our roof, to avoid water leakage near the chimney.  Texas Direct worked with our insurance company to ensure all necessary costs were included in our insurance company payments.  The roofers did everything that was promised, such as covering the swimming pool and AC unit.  The roof replacement was done in a professional manner and I could tell the guys were careful about their work, ensuring it was done right.  In summary, if I had to go through this process again, I would still hire Texas Direct.  They are a quality organization.  Thanks for the great service.

Great experience on getting a roof replaced after bad storms left my roof with holes and other damage. Matt explained the process from beginning to end thoroughly, and gave plenty of options of materials and other repairs that needed to be done. Fair and reasonable pricing. These guy's really got the job done in a timely manner. It only took 2 days to peal off the underlayment (1 X 12 pine boards) and put on the new decking,  shingles, drip molding, vents, and spouts (which they also painted to match the roof). Matt is an honest representative for Texas Direct Roofing's business dealings, which in these days is a real plus. I would recommend them to anybody that is serious about getting a new roof.

The experience of interactively working with Texas Direct Roofing & Construction (TDR&C) to plan, design, and ultimately install a new replacement roof system for our house has been one that exceeded all of our expectations even in the midst of some unexpected tough challenges, while also addressing the need to coordinate activities around another planned major house improvement project to install siding on all external painted wood surfaces.
When we engaged the services of TDR&C in early Octobr-2020, we were already 2 and ½ months into a stalled damage claim process during which our insurance company had already sent 3 separate claims adjuster representatives, including a Professional Engineer. They all denied the existence of any hail damage to the roof shingles, even though they all did acknowledged hail damage to the sheet metal vent features integral to the roof. The original installation contractor of our, then 17-year-old, existing roof had come out in July-2020 to check on the associated electric power vent motor that had just failed. He also inspected and identified the hail damage that led to this unexpected insurance claim.
THE BIG QUESTION: “How is it possible to confirm hail damage to roof vents, but deny any hail damage to shingles on the same roof?”
Thus, began our working relationship with Justin Garvey, Project Manager-TDR&C.  He inspected and confirmed evidence of roof shingle hail damage and offered us claim assistance services. After reviewing the claim documentation and consulting with multiple independent Appraisal experts, they all confirmed roof shingle hail damage.  However, they also identified evidence of abnormal, non-uniform thermal distress and degradation to roof shingles. Justin Garvey helped us understand that the power vent was improperly installed and adversely impacted the overall venting system and therefore it could never adequately cool the attic and prevent the abnormal shingle thermal damage.
Justin helped us understand at this point, that the most sensible and customer cost-effective approach to replace our roof system, was to just pay out-of-pocket, rather than waste more time and our limited financial resources to further pursue this insurance claim, with no guarantee of approval.  He further helped us minimize out-of-pocket costs by providing us a competitive quote, as well as a good deal to also install a new full-house seamless gutter system with leaf guards.
Justin worked together with us to design a new roof system with an attic venting system tailored for all of the complex features of our existing roof structure.
The TDR&C work crew completed the entire new replacement roof system in just 1 day.  This minimized inconvenience to us as customers.    We were especially surprised to see that the crew even took measures to protect our previously installed brand-new windows as well as existing plants and shrubs from falling debris during the removal process.
Justin was fully engaged in every aspect of this project, including efforts to encourage work crews to wear protective face masks in this COVID-19 environment and to be respectful to us as house owners. After completing the roof, he coordinated with the siding contractor to complete the siding installation. TDR&C then installed the new seamless gutter system the second week in December-2020.
As with any repair and/or improvement project of this magnitude, there were several glitches and mistakes along the way, but Justin made sure corrective fixes got done.  He consistently maintained an open communication line with timely responses to phone/text messages and emails. He carefully listened to our concerns during in-person conversations.
The overall appearance of the house with its well-coordinated color scheme is simply stunning. Our TDR&C contractor experience was one we could and did happily say, “You earned your pay”.

I had a terrible ordeal with my original contractor, MK Custom Roofing,  who left me stranded, in need of a partial roof repair, when the insurance didn't approve a full roof replacement.

After meeting with four additional contractors trying to get quotes on the partial replacement, I chose to go with Texas Direct.

Long story made short, Matt with Texas Direct, met with a second level insurance adjuster and was able to show proof of why the entire roof needed replaced versus a partial replacement.

The work was scheduled, crews showed up on time and completed the project in a single day and the new roof and gutters look awesome.    Texas Direct was professional all the way from the first meeting to the end of the project.  I could not be more satisfied, I'm a very happy customer. A storm Sunday, June 16, 2019 damaged our roof in several places and broke off part of a tree in the backyard. Texas Direct was contacted and Matt Andrews arrived quickly to survey the damage even though there was widespread damage across North Fort Worth surrounding our neighborhood. He took pictures of the tree, accessed the roof to take pictures and document the damage. His crew arrived the next morning at exactly 1100 a.m. as promised. They immediately went to work, quickly completed the task with zero disruption. No excessive stomping, hammering, etc. Efficient and professional workmanship. It should be noted that Matt arrived promptly after the storm, on Fathers Day, having just left his mother-in-law's home that had a neighbor's treetop down on it. Matt stated he determined there was no damaged and got to the business of helping those with houses where the damage from rain was a risk. He displayed outstanding customer interaction skills throughout the entire process. Our expectations of service and quality of work were high and Texas Direct Roofing & Construction easily surpassed those expectation.

Dealing with Tim was stress free.  As the project manager, he made sure all work was done professionally and on time.  We requested some additional work and it was taken on with ease.  He met with our insurance adjuster, traveled after hours to assist us even on weekends.

Jerrimy worked with our insurance company to insure we had everything taken care of.  We had new roof, gate and gutters along with siding repair that needed to be done.  Even with all of the rain we have experienced, the work was done as promised.

We hired Texas Direct Roofing & Construction for a flood we had at the first week of COVID-19. What we thought was minor, ended up being more extreme than we anticipated. (dishwasher flood into kitchen cabinets to flooring in main parts of the house) Matt sent out someone to check out the damage within one hour of us calling!

They were over the top accommodating considering the city had went on a stay at home advisory and was very very patient with us with the process on having everything sorted.

We honestly thought it would take forever for everything to be fixed that ended up needed! We went ahead and added some updgrades while we could and with all stores being closed, Matt was awesome about bringing us samples from his providers to make things easier.

His contractors were AMAZING. ALL very very polite, educated of what step was next or if they saw any other issues, they were able to address right away!

After the D-Day (June 6, 2018) hail storm, Matt was able to cover our broken skylights just before another rainstorm hit. Later the roofing crew completed the entire roof replacement in one hot day in July. The gutter contractor was also very fast and the new roof and gutters made a huge difference in the 'curb appeal' of the house. Thanks Texas Direct!

I've thoroughly vetted this company through two projects over the course of about six months. We completely overhauled the backyard and created an outdoor living through a porch extension which included outdoor infrared heaters and fan cooling, then finished with a complete roof and gutter replacement. We also had them reset fence posts and spray to restain the fence. You'd be surprised, I think, how practically priced the project was with this crew. Jerrimy walked us through every step, and when things popped up that were mistakes or issues he always corrected them quickly. Jerrimy is the picture of a professional, too. He's curteous and responsive and takes a "customer is always right" approach.

The subcontractors all struck me as very good at their jobs. They were out in extreme heat and cold, they worked very quickly, and their work was very high quality. The teams that stood out to me especially were the framers, the roofers, our electrician, our concrete guy, and our painter. All the subs were friendly and professional.

Texas Direct replaced my roof and gutters due to a hail damage. The scope of work performed was replacement of the rooves on the main house and a guest house in the backyard, including the replacement of damaged plywood in two places, replacement of gutters on both houses, and repainting of a small section of the front porch with water damage.

Jerrimy responded to my initial inquiry quickly and scheduled an appointment for the next day. Jerrimy inspected the rooves and front porch and explained the Texas Direct contract to me in detail, answering all my questions and making sure I was comfortable with the terms. Throughout the project, Jerrimy communicated by phone consistently well so I was always aware when workers would arrive, how long they would stay, and how the project was progressing. After the work was completed, Jerrimy returned to provide the warranty on the shingles and receive the final payment, as described by the contract. Jerrimy always did what he said he would do and was always available by phone in case minor issues came up and needed to be discussed. Jerrimy also submitted extra expenses to the insurance company directly and only involved me when the insurance company needed some additional pushing to process the claim. This difficulty was caused by the insurance company and not by Texas Direct.

The workers showed up on time, performed the work in a professional manner, and finished both rooves in one day. They cleaned up well and protected the shrubs with tarps, as I had requested.

The quality of the work was top notch. The rooves were taken down to the plywood, synthetic felt was used for extra durability, and Certainteed shingles with a 10-year warranty were used. The gutters were replaced in a timely manner and look great. All the work was done within two weeks, and the only reason it took this long was due to the insurance company and not Texas Direct.

I was very satisfied with my experience and would highly recommend Texas Direct for roof replacement.

TDR found damage on my roof that a prior inspector did not, had my insurance do a re-inspect and ended up getting me a whole new roof with upgraded shingles and other bonuses. Matt was very friendly, informative, and honest. If it wasn't for them I would still be stuck with a damaged roof.
