We had siding done through this company this summer.  Eventually, they got it done and done right, but they delayed and delayed and messed up the coordination with the materials supplier.

They also took almost twice as long as they estimated, at which time they left without saying a word and without finishing the job.  I had to call and harass them to get them to come out and see what they had missed, and it was another two weeks before they came back and finished the job.

To summarize: they got the job done right after weeks of delays by them, headaches for me, and harassment by the customer (me).

I have added pictures of the uncovered, exposed, and even rotted wood they initially left behind when they declared the job "done."

SC Home is a company that takes pride in their work and they are willing to do what is necessary to ensure that you are happy.

SC Home arrived on the agreed upon date.  Their work crew was professional and courteous.  They did a very good job of cleaning up after themselves and I haven't found a single roofing nail in my yard.

Sam the owner has built this company over the last 20 years and he takes pride in his reputation and his work.  And you see this attitude in all of the people he employs.

Friendly, accommodating, customer focused. When trying to quickly install a new roof before our baby was born, SC homes was flexible and pulled some strings to get us on the calendar in no time. When she arrived early, they were understanding that plans needed to change again even after the fire drill to get us on the schedule. Cody has been great to work with every step of the way. Because of these things and more, I definitely recommend working with SC Homes.

I had my roof put on by this company 5 years ago but I need to call and report damage to the soffit caused by the way the shingles were laid. They had a guy come out I sent him my warranty but I never heard back from him,.  I had his cell and sent him everything he asked for. He did say that the company was bought out but the original warranty should be honored. I can't tell, I can't reach anyone and I have to get this damage fixed ASAP as I am selling my house and it is contingent in this fix. I hope the I am able to get it fixed by them because if I have pay someone else, I will be pursuing them in Small Claims Court.

Work was outstanding!! Quality of workmanship was incredible! My property was just as clean after the work was completed!! My favorite thing about SC Home was that the Supervisor (Stephen) was always available and onsite, unlike other roofing companies. I can’t wait for my next hail damage...😎

Do not use this company! Despite opting for the best shingles the new roof they installed didn't last even five years. They do not return calls without you essentially harassing them daily, and are dismissive when you tell them that water is coming in through your ceiling. The owner came and took photos, and then continued to ignore calls. After three eventual repair trips my roof still leaks, and I have a nice pile of discarded shingles where they just threw them onto the hedges and ground below. I need to pay out of pocket for roof repairs and a new bathroom ceiling. I do not, under any circumstance, recommend this unprofessional company.

We were extremely satisfied with our roofing project.  Chris, our sales rep identified that we had hail damage and suggested we contact our insurance carrier.  Even on an 18 year old roof, our insurance covered the majority of our replacement roof.  This allowed us to upgrade shingles and  get ridge vents.  We had received several previous estimates and not one of them pointed out the hail damage.  Which would be kinda hard estimating from Google image rather than getting on the roof in one case.  As an engineer in design/construction, I was expecting to catch numerous problems.  However, their crew did a great job.  Removed the old roof within hours.  Replaced rotted wood around leaking vent pipes, and poor slope areas.  Went back with ice shield in critical areas.  Outstanding service and cleanup.  Thanks to Farm Bureau for great insurance processing of the claim.

This company will ghost you.
We contacted them in March of 2019 to get our windows and siding replaced. Things seemed to be going well, measurements were made and presumably parts were ordered.
Then they stopped updating us. I tried to reach out to them around mid May to find out what was going on. Every time I called the receptionist assured me that the people in charge were "out to lunch" or some other excuse.
About a week of me hounding them and I finally talk to someone who seemed to have an idea as to what was going on. Apparently, our project was in some sort of limbo because the window order had somehow been cancelled and getting them made would take some time because the factory had been flooded by the heavy rains this Spring. Not being in a particular hurry I agreed to give them a second chance and they assured me that they would have a project start date in 4 to 6 weeks.
Cut to August, no word from them and now they don't even answer the phones. I have driven to their offices twice now only to find them closed.
Needless to say, we will be taking our business elsewhere.

I had a badly leaking roof and needed a good company to replace it.  One of my brothers had used SC Roofing on more than one occasion and highly recommended them.  I contacted the company and received an estimate that was easily competitive with the other roofing companies from whom I had received estimates.  However, SC Roofing stood out, not only because of my brother's recommendation, but also the experience of the roofing team.  In addition, they spoke respectfully of the other companies and made no high-pressure sales talks.  They simply said what they could do, and let me make my own decision.  I found that level of discourse to be quite professional.  As to their experience, most of their teams have worked together for a decade or more.  Even the newest team has several years of experience as a unit.  Because of the seriousness of the leak in my roof, they provided emergency scheduling and began their work within a very few days.  I visited the ongoing tear-off and replace and noticed that the team was very hard working.  They know each other so well that they simply did their part of the job and moved efficiently through their tasks.  They were able to begin the job one day and finish the next, and that included completely reroofing a damaged storage building.  When they finished their work, they cleaned the vicinity of nails and debris.  To this day, I still have not found a roofing nail.  The roof looked absolutely amazing.  In fact, every time I see the roof, I like it even more.  The team did a great job, and made me one Satisfied Customer!

Steven was very helpful! He promptly answered all of our questions throughout the entire roofing process until it was done. My wife and I were very pleased with Steven and SC Homes. Will definitely be using again!
