This is our second time around with Roof Life of Oregon. Our first experience (4 years ago) was great, and this one follows in the same vein. Our roof is old growth heavy cedar shake, which would cost about $100,000 to replace today, so this is a small cost really to maintain that investment. Dustin and Amerigo were courteous, professional, and very responsive. At one point, I saw some of the roof debris being simply blown off into another part of the yard. I mentioned it to them, and they immediately cleaned it all up. I’m very happy with the service so far this time. They have yet to spray the roof to get rid of the fungus and I’m looking forward to seeing those results.

The main work was fine . Accept some Siding wasn't replaced over some flashing. Not happy at all with the last work done where they installed a bvent and hacked on my roof and roof support. I had to finish cutting out for pipe to fit and seal down the vent so water wouldn't go under it.

Thank you again for making time to meet with us and walk through your project. After talking with you and getting a firsthand look at the project we agree that it could have been finished better. Please accept our apology. And we are sorry for any frustration that we may have caused. Thank you again for being a great client and allowing us to make it right.

We live in McMinnville.  Before calling Roof Life of Oregon, we had contacted several of the local McMinnville roofing contractors for a roof evaluation and estimate of cleaning cost.  One of the companies called back and let us know that they received our request, but after about 4 weeks passed without a firm date from them for the inspection I finally gave up and scratched them from my list.  The other local contractor, the largest roofing contractor in town, told us about their workload and backlog and said that it would be at least a month before they could look at the roof.  They also informed us that they charge for the inspection and estimate - $180 just to look at the roof and give us a price.  I waited a month without a call back from them.  I finally called them to ask what was going on and they said they were just too busy.  Well, that’s when I called Roof Life of Oregon, and I am so glad I did.

I used the Roof Life or Oregon website for my initial contact.  They called me back the next day and scheduled the inspection within a few days after that – a “no cost” inspection I might add.  They followed up on the inspection in a few days with a very thorough video report and estimate as an attachment to an e-mail.  I work in the construction industry as a public works project manager and I had a pretty good idea of what I expected their estimate would be.  Their estimate was in alignment with what I had expected.  I responded and let them know I wanted to schedule the roof cleaning and repairs they recommended as soon as possible.  I was on their schedule with a date about two weeks after that correspondence.  The two-man crew showed up on time, on a very wet and windy day.  Both young men talked me through what they were going to accomplish and they made reference to the inspection report that they had reviewed prior to arriving.  The job took about 5 hours.  Roof cleaning and moss removal makes a significant mess.  While one guy was cleaning the roof and gutters the other was following him around the house on the ground washing the moss and dirt that came took off of the roof from the side of the house, windows, sidewalks, driveway and fences.  The clean-up wasn’t perfect (I’m kind of picky that way) but they got about 95% of it.  I finished the clean-up to my satisfaction they next day.

I am VERY happy with the process from the initial contact and communication to completion of the work.  I highly recommend Roof Life of Oregon for any work you are considering for your roof.

I needed moss removed and my gutters cleaned. They inspected my roof and assured me that my roof had some life left. That was good. He gave me a video of my roof and pointed out areas of concern. Then they came out on a terribly stormy day and worked for hours on my roof and gutters and downspouts.  Cleared away all the moss and the downspouts are gurgling away all the rain. My neighbors even pointed out how clean my whole house is after they were done clearing up the mess. I noticed that my skylight was cleaned too. I am very pleased with the work done and looking forward to future business with this company.

I had heard Roof Life’s ads on the radio and assumed they were probably on the expensive side. But of the three quotes we received, their estimate was the middle one. They were the only company of the three that actually got up on the roof and made a video to show us what the roof looked like. We were only looking for a cleaning but their thorough exam identified some other issues that they were also able to fix for us (all included in their estimate). The crew was very friendly and professional and they did a great job of cleaning up all the debris that came off the roof. I would definitely hire them again and highly recommend them to others.
