  Richard Richardson investigated my fireplace and chimney problems. He gave me a complete explanation of the work needed to repair the outside chimney and add a liner inside so that I could have wood fires. He emailed each segment of the work to be completed and its cost . He offered options for the division of the work to fit my budget. I decided to complete all the work this year and work commenced. Before each day's work, I received an email telling me when and which segment of the job would be completed. On the first day, Richard introduced Mike and John who arrived each day and completed the assignment. I looked forward to the lilt of their conversation while they worked. They always answered any question I had. They visited any neighbor whose property might be affected by the work being done at my house and cleaned up their work place daily. I am very pleased with the chimney repair and liner installation that they completed. I have recommended them to friends of mine who need similar work.

  This company was unbelievable! Called, the next day Rich showed up showed me the issues with my chimney, which was leaking into my living room. Said they were backed up a couple weeks. Rich was there on Friday, they arranged their schedule and we’re here Monday. Mike, Rich’s brother was extremely great. Mike and his crew finished the job in 2 days. Clean, professional, knowledgeable. I would, and I am going to use this company for any and all my construction issues. Great job thankyou

  M. J. Richardson Contracting Company did an excellent job of repairing my chimney to better than it originally was. It was in bad shape with several holes starting that could have led to water damage. They installed a new crown, all concrete, installed a new stainless steel cap over the flew after scraping and removing all the loose mortar and stucco. The first coat of paint was with a bonding agent so paint adheres. The whole chimney was painted.The crew of two had 100 years of experience between them, one starting at age 12. They were very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. So very easy to talk to. They were prompt in coming when I called, inspected the chimney and gave me a free estimate. I am very happy that I went with them and of the work that they performed. I highly recommend M. J. Richardson Contracting Company.
