I recently bought a house and wasn’t sure of the condition the roof was in. So I contacted a few roofing companies to receive estimates with Rapid Roofing being one of them. Kevin came out and completed a roof and attic inspection which the other companies did not. Everyone was so polite and helpful whenever we had concerns or questions and they got addressed quickly. It was a smooth and easy process from the inspection to the install! I would definitely recommend Rapid Roofing for your home improvement needs.

Yesterday confirmed what I mentioned in my previous review about this company. I'm going to start from the beginning. I'm a Veteran and I needed a reliable trustworthy company in order to get some assistance from the VA to help pay for my roof. Ryan came to my home to give me the extremely high quote stating that I would receive a discount for being a Veteran. That's the 1st lie. Fast forward to the shoddy work and the piece they broke off the house due to carelessness. I pointed all of this out before they completed the work and they still left the hump in my roof shingles sticking up. Ryan came to my home saying that he would fix the piece they broke off, after he collected the final payment I haven't heard from him again. I waited patiently for it to warm up some before contacting this company again for repairs to the roof and part they broke off. Fast forward to 4/5/22 at approximately 11:15am I spoke with Corey they were supposed to arrive at my home between 12p and 1pm. Mind you with my contract came a 25yr warranty. I asked to speak with the owner because they refuse to fix the part of my house that they broke off. Corey responded by telling me, " the owner doesn't want to speak to me, nor will they be repairing my roof until I remove the review I posted some months ago." This is bullying at its best. Like I stated before, they feel as though I should be grateful to them and that they chose me to be their customer not the other way around. I chose them based off someone I trusted. I believed they were the best company for the job. I was wrong. Needless to say they kept their word and didn't come out to repair my roof because I didn't take my review down. I hate to think that most things are racially motivated, but this is a clear case. I'm a black female who happily and proudly live in Detroit. I'm being disregard and disrespected on so many levels.

Good morning, Ms. Chandler. I’m saddened to hear that you believe that there is racial motivation behind our continued attempts to help you and alleviate all the problems with the exterior of your home. We do keep track of all phone calls in and out as well as all time sheets for work spent by our employees. This is what I have found: You first called on 3/12/21 at 2:34 pm requesting a quote for a new roof and gutters because "I have squirrels getting into my home". A welcome email was sent to you on 3/12/21 at 2:37 pm, along with a frequently asked questions video. On 3/16/21 at 10:00 am, your consultant, Ryan Bottorff, met with you to go over the problems that you were having. You explained to Ryan that you had an ongoing financial hardship and needed financial help. Ryan and RR agreed to do what they could to help you. Over the next several months, Ryan spent a recorded 6 hours over a period of 6 months helping you through the process with the VA. By doing so, Ryan and RR were able to get the VA to pay for $13,000.00 of the total cost of your restoration. During this time, our records show that we had contact on these days. • 5/4/21 at 11:59 am • 5/26/21 at 12:47 pm • 6/22/21 at 3:10 pm • 6/22/21 at 3:32 pm • 8/13/21 at 12:43 pm • 8/16/21 at 7:19 pm • 9/16/21 at 3:37 pm • 10/2/21 at 9:00 am • 10/21/21 at 2:10 pm • 10/25/21 at 8:46 am, Ms. Chandler called to leave a statement that "you were going to go with another company because no one had been in contact with you." Ms. Chandler also threatened a negative review. Please keep in mind that the previous several months were spent working to get the VA to cover the majority of the cost of your roof. • On 11/3/21 at 11:34 am, Ms. Chandler sent an email to Ryan that Ms. Chandler felt like she was being left out and it didn’t look good for RR reviews. • 11/3/21, 12:36 p.m.Ms. Chandler was moved ahead of several homeowners "with their permission" to the week of 11/15/21 to help a US Veteran out. They all happily agreed. n • 11/11/21 at 12:04 pm, Ms. Chandler was contacted for an installation date of 11/16/21. Material was ordered from ABC Supply at 12:26 pm. • On 11/11/21 at 12:26 pm, confirmation was emailed to Ms. Chandler to confirm the start date. • On 11/16/21 at 9:17 am, Ryan arrived at the jobsite to verify all work being performed on the contract with the onsite Project Manager, Alec. Ms. Chandler was notified that due to the condition of her home, her soffit material was crumbling and falling during fascia replacement. • On 11/18/21 at 6:51 am, an email was sent to Ryan confirming the roof and fascia boards were replaced and gutters were on order. • On 12/2/21 at 5:27 pm, Ms. Chandler called asking about gutter installation. She was informed that aluminum gutter material was on back order and we would get them installed as soon as possible. Again, Ms. Chandler threatened to leave a negative Google review for moving her ahead of other customers and getting her roof and fascia boards installed. • On 12/10/21, gutters were installed. • On 12/22/21, RR received final payment from the VA. • On 1/19/21 at 5:32 am, Ms. Chandler left a nasty review after the months spent working with Ms. Chandler and the VA. RR and Ryan have made several more visits to Ms. Chandler's home and have even agreed to spend unpaid hours of labor to fix the problems. All of this is unrelated to our original scope of work if Ms. Chandler would simply assist with the cost of the material. Chandler has again refused and left yet another nasty review, this time claiming racial discrimination. As we mentioned to Ms. Chandler yesterday, we are unable to help her until she removes the reviews that are untrue. RR and Ryan have gone well beyond anything even remotely reasonable to resolve the issues with your home. This is the first time in 23 years that we have been unable to resolve an issue with a homeowner. I’m again saddened that we were unable unable to meet your expectations. Mike Beaty

Rapid Roofing came out to my place and were very professional the whole way through! Their inspectors were very knowledgeable and made me feel at ease in my decision to have them install my new roof. Looks beautiful too!
