  Great staff, great customer service and great products. If you are not sure of what you need on your next project come here. Advise is superior to that of a “big box” stores. No question asked, or restocking charge, when we returned materials(stored inside) for a project we redesigned to use less wood. I would highly recommend Preston Feather for your next project.

  Greatest Lumber yard ever.... I have worked with them for 23 years. Their staff is top notch and they are awesome about correcting any problems. Rob Blair in Harbor Springs store and Don Smith / Petoskey store are two high quality people i have worked with. They have been with Preston Feathers for over 20 years... Highly recommend...

  Marshall, from Preston Feather Building Center in Petoskey, helped us with a delivery to one of our customers. Our semi rig could not get to them with the emergency road conditions present.
