WARNING! Mickey came and gave me an estimate, gave me a great feeling about using Pit Crew. TURNS OUT MICKEY IS THE ONLY GOOD PART ABOUT PIT CREW ROOFING. You won't actually deal with the rest of the company until after you sign a contract and put your deposit down....so by then its too late!! DO NOT USE PIT CREW. At a high level, here is why I would never recommend Pit Crew 1. We caught a crew member peeing in our garden, where we grow vegetables to eat. 2. The crew on the roof started physically fighting and cussing at each other, scaring our neighbors young daughters from their own yard to run inside. 3. The clean up effort was non existent. We were constantly picking up roofing nails and debris. (See picture) 4. Our yard was trashed when the roof runoff had a weird blue plastic after a rain event. They said it was biodegradable, but we have dogs it seemed unsafe to let them out in the yard. 5. They took over 30 days to finish the roof when they initially said 5 days. 6. They don't employ crew members who know how to miter joints, or use a miter saw. (See photos) 7. The material was stored so poorly it looked like a dump and the drip edge got damaged. (See photos) 8. The communication about when people were coming was non existent. We had a handful of no call no shows.....in the middle of the project. They said the inspector was coming, but I checked the permit and the inspector never came by between days off..... 9. Twice they told me they would work through the weekend and they pulled no call no shows.... For more details about my experience read below If you need ANY woodwork done on your roof, avoid using Pit Crew. I needed a lot of woodwork/repair on the roof itself, plus I needed fascia replaced. Pit Crew brought in a 10 man crew to tear down my roof to nothing. For the following FOUR WEEKS, they only sent a two man crew to the house to finish the bulk of the woodwork. They insisted they only had two good woodworkers on the crew, so they couldn't send more manpower my way. Sadly, if you look at the wood work completed around the house its very ugly and poorly done. IF YOU NEED ANY WOODWORK DONE, AVOID PIT CREW. My final invoice was double what my quote was for...the change orders took over two weeks to get in my hands, and at that point the bill had already DOUBLED IN PRICE. The work they did for the drip edge is very poor quality work and my neighbors can't believe it. The material was stored very roughly, so the drip edge was damaged and installed with scratches and dents. The roof was done months ago, and I am still finding nails in my tires and throughout the yard.

We are very sorry this was your experience although recollections may vary. We noticed some of these photos were taken before our punch list was completed. Sometimes, we do have to change things as they aren’t perfect the first time… the good news is we did make it right for you. Upon our last visit, Mike and Saul were able to satisfy all of the items you wanted addressed and you were happy with the results. A roof is a large process with various moving parts and in this case there was substantial wood rot underneath. Per code roofers cannot attach to wood rot — it has to be changed. Permit modifications and additional work was required and needed. Unfortunately Pit Crew does not control the city or the building code that we are subject too. We are also in a COVID environment with dozens of material and labor shortages on a daily basis and doing the best that we can. If there is anything else we can do please message us so that we can assist in getting it done!

Pitcrew installed a beautiful teal colored metal roof about 5 years ago. I recently noticed a small leak coming in on my block wall and this is where Pit Crew really impressed me even more than the initial installation. You see, they came out on 5 successive occasions to fix the leakage. They started with the most obvious simple fix and when they did not rectify the problem, they increased the scope of their work until the problem was resolved. In conclusion, Pitcrew has demonstrated they will aggressively stand behind their work for the full 25 year warranty. This is impressive aa you always want a company that will give 100 percent effort for the life of the warranty.

I used Pit Crew to replace my roof vents. The office returned all my calls promptly. The repair was done well, employees are very polite . I didnot shop around for price as I wanted it fixed. I would recommend them for repairs , I have no experience with their roof replacement.
