  Had the pleasure of doing business with Marlin they had been referred over to me by my brother in law who was very pleased with the job they did at his home. The office was very prompt in sending out a project manager to go over my roof repairs after a recent storm we had. Denise my project manager answered all my questions and was very upfront and honest with the repair costs and expectations. The office staff did a wonderful job keeping me up to date with how things were moving along. I am very happy with my new roof I would hire again

  First, I have run a small business, and I always try to be balanced with reviews and take in all the information I can. The reality is: Marlin did not take care of the customer at all. The admin staff seems lost and confused. The invoice was incorrect and there were 3 significant delays on roof install. The roof itself and the roofers did a great job. However, the administration of Marlin receives an absolute F grade. Do your homework better than we did. There is a reason that this company has been on the news. I learned the hard way.

  It took over a year for my settlement with my insurance company. And once they got paid out, they took months to do my roof. I had to call constantly to get them to finally do it. They seem to have ignored their contract with me that is suppose to include the roof, plywood, and bathroom ceiling. Instead I got an email asking for my deductible, which was already paid, and an invoice for the plywood, and then ignoring all emails regarding when the ceiling will be done. And when I call it’s a “I’ll find out and get back to you” and never happens. Seems like insurance fraud if you agree to do something, it in the contract, and then refuse to do it. I’ve contacted my insurance company for them to be aware of what’s going on. I will update my review if things change, but this has been by far a horrible experience. And not one over there seems to care. I just want the job done so I don’t have to deal with them again. And I hate leaving reviews, but I had heard about the lawsuit against them, but chose to ignore it. They also got tar all over my stucco too. Edit: had someone up on our roof to fix our dryer vent, they never attached the roof vent to our roof. It’s just sitting there on top.
