  Big update!! Unfortunately J&M does not have their facts correct. The leak was due to improper sealant of the valley not a build up of leaves. This was not a maintenance issue. We have lived in this house for close to 20 years and our first roof never leaked. The timeline is fuzzy because you do not have all of the facts. First all I called the office multiple times before anyone responded. Second I have all of the text messages ( since oct 2021)with your employees as proof. Specifically with the guy that sold us the job. Third your employees showed up to my home 3 times to tried and fix this and asked me to communicate with him which is why you don’t have a record of it. Finally it was YOUR employee that said the whole ceiling needed to be repainted. Your decision was very short sided a 20k job for a couple of hundred $$ mistake. As far as our neighbors…yes one came to the door inquiring about our experience with you and we were honest and invited him in to see the stain. You told me that you were going to sue me for slander…everything I have said is true. Fortunately a competitor new to the market did the right thing and has created a lot of goodwill and thus business by painting the entire ceiling. See new pic. So unfortunate on your part…do the right thing it goes a long way. Buyer beware!!!Unfortunately I cannot recommend this company. They installed our roof and did not properly install the flashing which caused leaks in three places. They came out and fixed the leaks however there was a large stain left in the living room. They have not been able to match the paint and it has taken months to try to get resolution. I have dealt with at least 4 different people. And now we have a big stain. Now the entire living room ceiling needs to be painted. Filed a Complaint with the Bureau of better businesses and spoke with the corporate office in Atlanta after speaking with Taylor today after he has refused to fix the problem his company created and told me that the roof was not leaking and it had a warranty. Terrible customer service. The leak is the procuring cause of the stain.

  Mrs. Daddario, Thank you for your feedback. Your roof was replaced on 10/9/2020 and you reported the leak on 7/14/2021. Upon the inspection of the roof, we found that debris had built up in the valley causing the water to work itself through because it cannot shed off of the roof. This is a maintenance item, not an installation defect which is why it took approximately 9 months to show up. In order to give you peace of mind and show good customer service, we opted to tear it up and replace the valley, as well as, paint the stain. You seemed to be more than happy until 12/6/21 and at that point, the paint job was no longer satisfactory. We came back out and you requested that we just try to "blend" the paint in an effort to match the paint. Once again, upon completion, everything was satisfactory. We then received a voicemail from you on 3/2/22 stating that you are going to tarnish our name and reputation in the area if we do not paint the entire ceiling. Once I spoke with you, you stated that was in fact the case and that you had already started with one of your neighbors so it would be in our best interest to come out immediately, paint the ceiling, and we'll go from there as far as matching ceiling to ceiling. We cannot continue to spend time and resources over months of time hoping that our resolution to the issue that derived from your lack of upkeep will be satisfactory. Best Regards, J&M Roofing

  I have never had such a quick response and completion with any home repair service in the 20 years in my home. They helped with every step of the way from initial inspection, helping by talking with my insurance company and then meeting with my insurance representative - this happened within three days of calling them.   Hunter was very helpful and informative. He walked me through the entire insurance process from start to finish. The roof turned out amazing, it was done in just 2 days! I would have never thought I could get an entire $20k roof for just the price of my deductible! I won’t hesitate to use them again and I will be referring anyone who needs a roof to J&M. Thanks again guys
