  Feel like its rare now for a company to come out for a consultation and help you out without making money off of you. The team came out for a roof leak issue and were able to find the issue that I could repair myself. They were super friendly and wanted to help me find the solve for my problem. I know now if I need a new roof or anything of the sort will be calling them! They were very knowledgeable!

  Called for roof repairs recommended by my home inspector, provided very specific pictures and descriptions of needed changes. There were delays in getting an estimate and much longer to get the work completed. While the work that was done seems fine so far, I had one top priority, a slow leak through a skylight flashing that was never addressed (despite a full conversation and multiple pictures and descriptions of the leak from my inspector). Previous estimates from multiple companies verified only the flashings needed to be sealed to fix this leak. While they addressed the lesser concerns, the only major action item was even listed on the contract to "Reseal all existing flashings", as referenced by the provided pictures and descriptions. After the first job when I noticed it was still leaking, they sent another estimator and verified this as the origin of the leak even showing it was simply one spot of loose sealant over the flashing, but refused to reseal it as written on my contract, instead tried to get a new job out of it to replace the entire skylight.

  I've dealt with several roofers, and Ken at Horizon is hands down the best. They're responsive, professional, detail-oriented, and 100% reliable. When there was an unrelated issue that still caused a leak his guys came back several times to see the project through to completion. They have installed custom skylights, put down a new roof, re-coated a roof, and all the work has been top notch.
