  Derek Hart is WITHOUT A DOUBT the most honest, dedicated and professional businessman I have ever come across. I spent 31 years in the Marine Corps, so professionalism, knowledge and dedication are an ABSOLUTE MUST for me when the infrequent occasion arises that I have to hire someone for a home improvement project. As installing windows from scratch was a bit outside my areas of proficiency, I knew I needed help, so after a quick online search here (and in a few other venues) I left Derek a message. Within a day he had not only returned my call, but had scheduled a time to come to my home in Jacksonville. I was immediately impressed by his knowledge and professionalism, but far more noteworthy was his demeanor; genuine, quiet and replete with reserved humility. Long story short – I willingly (and quickly) signed a contract with him and ALL WORK was completed within the timeline he provided that first day. Throughout the entire cradle-to-grave process he kept me abreast of any and all relevant information and at NO TIME did I begin to lose faith in him or begin to second-guess my decision. Additionally, the folks he has working for him were just as humble, knowledgeable, professional, thorough, personable and honest as he is. Derek Hart is that very rare breed of man these days; not only is he very, very good at what he does, but his is a genuinely nice person. I will definitely be hiring him again for other home improvement projects. Call him and you will immediately understand why I think so very highly of him.

  We signed an agreement with Harts Windows, Siding & Roofing following Hurricane Florence. Paid an initial deposit for the materials. After several months of non-responsiveness we made multiple attempts to receive an update on roof replacement. Finally, Mr. Harts confirmed he would have our materials delivered & he would begin work within the week. He had our metal roof material dumped in the middle of our drive-way by the material supply company blocking our parking spaces for weeks. Then....he never showed up to replace roof. We attempted several more times to contact the company about when they'd be replacing our roof & never heard from the company or owner (Mr. Harts). We had to find another roofing contractor to replace roof, which wasn't easy since we wanted the new company to use the already paid for & delivered material. Also, new roofing contractor confirmed Harts Windows, Siding & Roofing over ordered material, so we paid more than we needed to. I would never recommend this company - completely unprofessional.

  Most wonderful company. Top notch service and installation. No need to look any farther, and Harts Windows Siding and Roofing is the only contractor you will need for your home projects. They have replaced our windows and front door. Fantastic workmanship and great fit. Gentlemen doing the install, most professional, timely, and courteous work crew you could expect. I highly recommend Harts Windows Siding and Roofing.
