  I've used GW roofing for 2 houses now and have absolutely loved working with them. Darrin is always extremely responsive and helpful! The pricing has always been fair and I've loved their work. I can't recommend them enough! I've recommended them to other investors and friends. I will absolutely be using them again in the future!

  We recently purchased a new home and our realtor recommended using Darrin and his crew. Initially they came out to inspect the roof and although the roof needed to be replaced, he was able to repair enough of it for a small fee to pass inspection. We recently called again to have the roof replaced and they were able to schedule us in two weeks. The crew was quick and professional and the clean up left the yard looking better than when they started. I would recommend them 100%

  Originally signed contract in November, was told we would be two weeks until completion. It took until February 3rd before the shingles were actually installed. Second part of the contract was to remove and reinstall our solar array after the new roof was installed. I understand this is not a normal service of theirs, but Darrin told me he could get it done and this was the deciding factor to go with him. Once the shingles were up. Darrin has told me repeatedly that they will be back to install the solar array "Friday" or "tomorrow".... then no one shows up and Darrin does not reach out to communicate delays. Almost every step of the project Darrin has been horrendous with communicating updates, delays, or issues. And currently I've been reaching out trying to get updated on when this can be completed.... but Darrin does not respond to my texts or phone calls. He has told me many different reasons for delays.... but I always have to hunt him down to find out anything. I've tried desperately to resolve this with him and have been mostly ignored. The two stars were because when he did have his crew show up, they did do a good job. However, due to communication issues, I would not recommend him for any project going forward.

  GW did in fact remove the solar system. It is impossible to replace the roof system on any home without removing the system first. You have neglected to include the fact that we removed the solar system prior to replacing the roof system. You also did not mention that we ordered, purchased and delivered the proper solar leg flashings without reimbursement. Oddly there is also no mention of the fact that our guys were on your roof less than a week ago and left said flashings along with loading your solar rail system onto the roof. You were in the middle of emailing with our owner yesterday when you simultaneously submitted this review. You have not been charged for the removal of the inferior solar system which you have admitted no other company would touch. You hired the solar company in 2018 and had them install a poorly placed system on your roof and now want it put back in place while knowing it is not only inferior but has no warranty despite it's age of only 4 years. (Industry Standard Solar System Warranty 20 Years) We submitted our written labor warranty upon final payment. Oddly again, there is no mention of your delay to pay upon completion per the signed contract. After we communicated with you yesterday and you asked when we could get the solar done for you you received a reply. Even after the reply you still wanted us to come back and do the solar and all while you submitted this review and forgot to mention it to us. As we clearly stated yesterday, your warranty in one time transferable and we will transfer upon notification by you that the home has been sold. We will also convey our concerns about the solar system that no one wanted to touch and its poor placement and quality if someone places it on our roof system. Again, we hope you will do the right thing and add this to your seller disclosure to properly and legally inform buyers of these facts. Lastly your statement "this was the deciding factor to go with him" is completely false. You went with us because we previously stopped leaks for you. At that time you knew the roof needed replaced. We had to come back out a second time to tarp half of the roof for you due to its condition. You have not mentioned communication experienced while our company stopped water from intruding into your home. Finally you were ready to replace the roof and that is when we moved forward. To say it was solely because of your solar is false. You were very aware based on the price that the solar portion of your job was more of a favor than anything. We are not arguing the delays in this current climate as they are at an all time high in this country due to material and labor issues. We are here to reply to your review and to include all of the facts. Your choice to omit details is an obvious attempt to demean and defame our company for your own satisfaction by painting a partial picture of your whole experience with us. GW Roofing & Repair, LLC
