  I had a leak in my (Florida) tile roof. Called a few places and these guys were the most responsive and had very fair and very competitive prices. They took care of my small job within a few days of me calling. The crew was prompt, profession and courteous. Before the fixed my leak, they took the time to show me what the builder (Lennar) did wrong; what caused the leak. They explained how they would fix it and they did. Very reasonable, very professional start to finish.

  This review and rating is based solely on the price gouging that took place while Florida Roofing and Waterproofing made repairs in three areas of my roof that were leaking. There was no tile or wood, nor any material product required to make the repairs other then re sealant of the roof membrane in small areas that had separated. The repairs took less than one and a half hours, I was charged $4000 for these repairs. Sadly, there is only one person to blame; myself for accepting their estimate and giving approval. The repairs were satisfactory. But, taking advantage of a person requiring repairs does not speak well for the character and trustworthiness of Florida Roofing and Waterproofing. The repairs were made in June of 2017. Since then with some investigation I received three appraisals from reputable roofing repair companies; actual cost estimates ended up ranging from $675 to $1000 for exactly the same work.

  I want to begin by saying thank you for saying the repairs I made to your home 2.5 years ago were done well and still do not leak. I care about what I do and I rarely have warranty calls. If someone was going to charge you $675 to $1,000 for 3 full blown leaks in your tile roof then I would say you should have concerns regarding what kind of quality you would have got for that low a price. As well I sent two crews to your home to make the repairs. That’s why I completed your home in 1.5 hours as opposed to sending one crew and it taking all day. June is rainy season and I have to be in and out to get people dry. So I’m sorry you aren’t happy 2.5 years after the fact but I love that your roof still doesn’t leak and I’ll always be here to take care of you if you need me. Sincerely David

  David quoted a fair price for my valley leak, and provided it promptly. He answered my questions honestly. His two man crew showed up on time, were professional, and completed the repair with good results. I tested the repair by usiong a garden hose on the leaky area, and there were no leaks that I could detect. This repair was just done yesterday (4/8/2020), so if any leaks show up I will update this review. So far, so good.
