I hired Father & Son to replace the roof of my woodshop (pictured below). In addition to removing old shingles and installing new, they replaced most of the underlying plywood which had suffered extensive fire and water damage, and extended the eaves. The work was done quickly and professionally, and I'm very happy with the resulting quality.

I cannot recommend Father and Son Roofing more highly. I discovered a puncture in our membrane roof due to a tree branch that required an emergency repair right before Christmas. Angelica was easy to work with and is a great communicator. Luis came out promptly and completed the repair. I’ll be hiring them again without hesitation.

I really loved working with Father & Son Roofing. My skylight developed a leak and there was nothing but rain in the forecast for the following week (wet season has begun). They were so kind and flexible to get me taken care of and definitely saved me a lot more in repairs from potential water damage. They were professional and extremely easy to work with. Father and Son did an incredible job for our roof replacement. From the start, the estimate was fair, the work was done as defined, and the cleanup was detailed. Kenny, Jose, Luis, Junior, Juan, Rick and Jake are a top-notch team that pays attention to detail. I had 7 estimates for a complicated job and their estimate was fair. The quality of work was outstanding. I would highly recommend them for anyone looking for a quality roof job.

Father & Son Roofing replaced our roof in April 2020. They offered the most competitive bid and had great reviews from previous customers who commented on the quality of their work, responsiveness, and transparency. The project took almost two weeks, and we were impressed with the guys who were on site every day. They showed up early, worked all day, and did a great job on a big, complex roof. They were accommodating to our requests regarding the additional vents we needed as well as minor repairs to siding and trim and were friendly to boot. The roof looks great and has performed well since its installation. We highly recommend Father & Son Roofing!

We hadn't been up on a roof since we purchased our home 3 1/2 years ago, so we called Father & Son Roofing based on a neighbor's recommendation.

Kenny Weaver came out to do the estimate and was the ONLY person (we got 3 quotes) who noticed a problem with the flashing on two parts of our home. We had no idea and thought we only need some basic gutter and moss cleaning. It was critical enough because water was finding its way to the boards under the shingles. However, Kenny's thorough inspection, clear communication and fair estimate made us more confident when it came time to make our decision.

When the work was scheduled, Luis and his Father explained what they were doing and even took care of a concern with the gutter that we didn't even ask to be done "...since we were already up there."

I would HAPPILY recommend Father & Son Roofing to anyone looking for maintenance or repairs to their home.

Kenny Weaver Who Is Project Coordinator/Estimator Was Very Professional and Explained All Aspects Of Our Roof Repairs On Main House & The Membrane Roof Replacement On Our Attached Mudroom. The Crew Were Professional, Fast and Cleaned Up Every Piece Of Scrap and Old Fastners.
Price Was Very Reasonable.

Thank you very much for your amazing review! You really made our estimator's day when he heard your words. We appreciate your thoughtfulness and 5 Stars! We loved being able to help get you the best option for your roof.

Be aware! Contract vs their word. They will verbally promise you one thing and then on the signed contract say something else and get you with hidden/additional fees. We got charged for over a dozen additional boards. We asked for receipts and still never got them. Once we told them we were going to send someone out to check their work and verify they actually put those boards they threatened to put a lean on our home. Once we told them we would bad reviews online regarding our experience they said they would removed a discount they gave us previously and would sic their lawyer on us. NEVER HIRE THEM!!

Written Contracts are the appropriate process for construction projects to be sure everything is transparent from the beginning.  We attempted to arrange a meeting with you on numerous occasions to discuss the Contract contents that you signed.  Our Contract discloses Change Orders. They spell out to the owner the costs associated with additional labor and materials needed for the work to be done. As for the receipt request, we are not legally required to provided individual receipts from our vendors. We provided a detailed itemized list with pricing on your Change Order for additional labor and materials used on your project.  When we tried to address your concerns, you told us to communicate through email.  We offered you a credit for half of the Change Order’s labor cost, but you told us that wasn't satisfactory.  We asked you how we could satisfy your concerns and your only answer was to subtract the entire cost for labor.  The Contract documents included the State required Lien Notices.  We did not file a lien.
We sought lawyer consultation as we needed to know how to proceed. We credited you half the labor cost on the Change Order after consulting with our Attorney, even though you declined that as an acceptable resolution in email.  Thank you for paying the Contract less half the Change Order labor cost.
As a family-based company this kind of review is supremely disheartening.  We would be happy to hear what another contractor has to say about your roof and our installation practices. Our crew has been trained to follow the Shingle manufacturer’s best practices for leak prevention and we stand behind our 5-year Workmanship Warranty.
