  This company was an absolute nightmare to work with. I was misled and lied to for several weeks. I originally hired Dupont because they were going to handle the insurance claims, removing me as the middle man. I was told I'd been given a 1-2 notice before they arrive to start work, instead I came home one day to my old roof ripped off of my house. It took them 3 days to replace the roof and they never tarped the roof at the end of day, so rain and moisture set in. After 5 days of then fixing my structural damage and not completing it, no one showed up again. After 3 weeks of waiting, I was told they were waiting on material to be delievered. After another week, I reieved an email stating I needed to reach out to my insurance company to request additional funds, but the contract I signed said they were responsible for this. I later recieved a phonce call from the sales rep who was supposed to be our point of contact that he had been fired and no one was going to let me know. It took me sending an email stating I would fire this contractor for someone to finally get in touch with me. When they came to remove the remaining roof materials, they hit my house with the fork lift and ripped off the eve of my house, but completely ignored these damages and were not willing to pay for them. They never removed and of the debris from framework they were replacing. Once fired, I didnt hear from anyone for over a month and then I recieved and email with an invoice and they are only allowing me 3 days to pay them, or they are filing a lien against my resoidence. Be keep in mind that this business owner is just a money hungry mongral, and does not care about how he treats his customers. He is a crooked man and doesn't care what the work looks like, as long as he gets paid.

  Ashley, I am sorry you had this experience with our company. After the storm we made a few new hires to help with the volume and we’re not able to train them properly in customer communication and job over site. As the owner I was not made aware of the circumstances until after they had escalated. We terminated employment with your sales representative and gave you a $1,000 credit for some of the issues you had. I personally came to the property to speak with you and your husband when I found out what had happened. I tried to offer to make things right but was told we could not complete the job. I do not claim to be perfect but we always make things right when given the opportunity. I wish you and your family the best and again apologize for the way things played out.

  I had a very large tree fall on my house during hurricane Zeta and it cut my roof in half and blew out part on the wall in my bathroom. A large crane had to be brought in to remove it in sections for safety reasons. This cost us just under $4,000. My insurance company for all repairs waned to pay us $3,800 and only repair the roof right where the tree cut it. I called multiple companies to come out and give us an estimate. Most walked away because they said they could not repair the roof or give us any kind of guarantee that it would not give us problems down the road. I called the insurance company and the response was "be glad we were paying you this much". This went on for six months. Someone recommended that we call Dupont Roofing. James and his crew came out and spent hours on the roof and in my attic inspecting the damage and preparing the bid for the insurance company. These guys went to the insurance company and fought for us. About two weeks after the bid was placed, the insurance company came back with a full roof replacement appraisal and a full repair in the attic, bedroom, and bathroom. They did outstanding work and everyone was professional. I can not recommend these guys enough. And although I hope I don't ever go through this again, these guys will be my first call if I did.
