During a storm we suffered some pretty severe damage to our roof. We contacts Sam at Custom Craft Roofing and I couldn’t have been more happy with my overall experience.
To be honest we had a little bit of a difficult time with my insurance adjuster getting back and Sam was very patient and professional with everything.

We are so happy with the new roof that Custom Craft Roofing did for us. They were very thorough and their team of workers did an excellent job! Their clean up was great and we highly recommend their services to anyone.

Most of our neighborhood needed new roofs after a hail storm in August.  Numerous different roofing companies came to talk to us about our roof.  We felt that the other places that came were just looking to make a quick deal and didn't really care about the final product.  When Sam stopped by to talk to my husband, my husband felt that he was the best choice for our project.  We were fighting with our insurance company for full coverage of our roof.  Sam not only looked at roof, gave my husband a fair estimate, he helped us with pointer on dealing with insurance.  Sam was also very understanding with the insurance process.  Sam's crew showed up first thing in the morning and we had a new roof before we got home from work.  We also had our skylights removed from our master bedroom.  The crew was very professional about working in our bedroom.   They covered everything with plastic sheeting and cleaned up after the installation.  We will happily continue recommend Sam and Custom Craft Roofing, in fact one of our neighbors that hadn't picked a roofing company yet asked for their number after watching them work on our roof for the day. I could not be happier with the work they did on our roof.

Custom Craft was the highest estimate, but their estimate includes everything we needed.

None of other estimates included chimney flashing or decking replacement - which obviously was needed.

I rather know up front what something is going to cost.

Rather than have the contractor want more money once my shingles are off.

I went with them, because the person that does their estimates impressed me.

I continued to be impressed with this company.

We needed to have our condominium roofs looked at to determine their life expectancy.  Sam Zekveld came out and walked up on all the roofs to give us an accurate estimate based on his experience.  He took the time to document each roof and its condition.  We were very pleased with his professionalism and knowledge. Should we need their services in the future, I would definitely recommend Custom Craft.

Custom Craft worked hard to win our business and we are so glad they did!  Jonathan took time to answer all of our questions, was courteous and professional. The crew came out and completed the job in one day. They went above and beyond and the roof looks great!  They left the property clean, and we are super happy with how our roof turned out.

I would give Custom Craft 6 stars if I could.  It was an all around excellent experience.

My roof is complex (over 50 faces with 4 flat sections), large (41 square), steep, and 3 stories tall.  Not a job most roofing companies want to tackle.  Custom Craft finished the job in 3 1/2 days.

From start to finish, everyone involved was very professional and respectful to my needs and suggestions.  From our first meeting things went exactly as planned.  I signed the contract in January with a 50% deposit, I asked them to wait until warm weather until they started the project.  The check was held but not cashed until right before the start date.

On the first day, my contact introduced me to the crew chief  and he was on the project from start to finish.  On any given day the crew was six to eight roofers.  The crew boss was fantastic and he kept me well informed about their progress.  The crew were all hard workers and excellent at their job, true professionals all.

The job site was kept neat and clean throughout the project.  The dumpster arrived the day the project started and was removed the day the project ended.  The gutter crew was in and out the next day and the project was done.

I live in the city and since the completion of the project, I have watched many people on the sidewalk stop and admire the house.

I understand that times change and so do companies, that is why I don't write online reviews, in fact, this is my first online review ever.   What I can say is my experience in April of 2020 with Custom Craft was exceptional.  I hope by writing this review the company realizes how high they have set the bar and will continue to raise it as years go by.

My husband and I had a stellar experience with custom craft. All calls with Sam were professional and timely. Our roof was done in a timely manor, looks perfect and was cleaned up like no one was here.

Custom Craft is an anomaly among roofing companies in Sheboygan County. Why? Because they answer the phone! They reply to messages! They show up to appointments on time! They care about customer service, and that set an initial positive tone when I contacted them in July 2020 to bid on my roof and gutter replacement. I met with Matt to go over what I wanted to have accomplished and a couple days later I received a quote via email. The pricing compared to the other bids I received was very good! Matt was super accommodating revising the quote as we explored different gutter options, adding outbuildings, etc. Once we settled on a final scope of work, Matt came back to the house for one more walkthrough and shingle color selection. I signed the proposal and provided down payment.

Fast forward a couple of months and it was finally my turn! But the timing of multiple projects clashed as the week prior my driveway was paved. Without proper curing time heavy trucks couldn't park on the asphalt. Paul, the jobsite supervisor, and his crew went above and beyond to make sure no harm came to the driveway. (Thanks guys!) The process for my house went like this: the flat roof crew came first and did their job in a day and half. The shingle crew came next and it took them about two days to tear off and shingle. A few days later the gutter crew came and new gutters were in place in about 90 minutes. Finally, the flat roof material was tied into the gutters and the project was complete!

Throughout the process extreme care was shown for the surrounding area. Boards were used to shield the house during tear off. Tarps were used to protect the lawn and landscaping. Lots of passes with the magnet to make sure nails were picked up. When I had a question or concern about something, it was addressed immediately. Everything you'd expect from a reputable contractor. The final product is exactly what I envisioned, and the experience turned out to be exactly what I hoped for when I first made contact. Thanks for all your hard work Matt, Paul, Nicole, Zac, and crew!
