Called Croce to repair a small roof leak. They made it worse. When they came back to fix it, they made it even worse! Now they just don't respond. Looking at ceiling repair now, as well as for another roofer. Too bad there's no "zero star" rating.

I Have Had Numerous Projects Done To My Household Completed By Croce Builders, Which Included A Two Level Deck, A Roof, Vinyl Siding, Painting (Interior And Exterior), Plus Miscellaneous Odds And Ends, And I Have To Say, That Frank Delivered As Promised. Not Only Did He Complete Each And Every Job In The Time Frame He Had Promised, He And His Crew Handled Every Task In A Courteous And Professional Manner. I Would Highly Recommend Him To All That I Know, And Will Always Hire He And His Crew For Other Home Improvement Needs Of My Own....5 Stars? I Don't Think So, I'm Giving Them A Solid 10 Stars, 2 Thumbs, And 2 Toes Up!!!!!!

This company is the worst they didn't even work on my house. But blocked my driveway, damage my house by nailing a tarp to it, and physically assaluted me. Charges were filed ! Most unprofessional roofing company in the state of New Jersey. The guy who assulted me spelled like liquor. I would not trust them. I would of gave them no stars one is too much!

    Response from the owner

This is an attempt on your behalf to discredit this business. The FACT is that the authorities were called by one of OUR employees when YOU became enraged that the OWNER of our nearly 50-year, family-owned, successful contracting business had no choice but to block your driveway while he was eating lunch in his truck and when you did approach him he quickly assured you that he would move the vehicle. A portion of your home was protected with a tarp, yes, which is required protocol when the professional decision is made by the site overseer that any debris from the project at hand might potentially create damage to adjacent structures. Since you were not home at any point until the time described above, we were not able to obtain your verbal consent (which is NOT mandatory by law) and thus an early morning decision was made to protect YOUR property by means of a tarp. It can be understood that you may have been momentarily alarmed to see what had already been in progress for hours and nearly complete when you finally arrived, but you behaved in a psychotic manner, obliging our presence with arrogance, and an alarming, confrontational and threatening demeanor. You tried every bully tactic there is to provoke the one worker whom you wrongly describe as "smelled like liquor" ( an untruth) to respond physically and in like manner to what you were saying and doing (throwing our tools around, etc.). Instead, at the end of the day, you were forced to take your anger issues elsewhere with a result you did not like. Charges were NOT filed, that is another untruth. Croce Builders, Inc.
