I had a major house renovation job done to my house. I am very pleased and thankful I chose Chesapeake painting & Home Improvement. It was a lot of work but well worth it. Amazing work, there installers where very knowledgeable and there customer service is second to none. From the initial call to the installation process it was smooth. I would like to thank Brandon and his entire team for a job well done. Thank you Chesapeake Painting and Home Improvements.

This company was contracted via Lowe's to install a storm door. The day of installation they got hung up with another client, but instead of telling me it won't be possible to get to me that day, the secretary, Crystal, kept calling and giving me reestimates on their arrival, only to cancel 12 hrs later at 10pm. They came the next day (Fri) and all was fine except they broke the screen during transit. I didn't want the screen installed over the glass, but I did want to keep it in case I changed my mind in the future; plus, I paid for it. I was told by Brandon they would fix it and bring it on Mon along with the proper screws to secure the doorbell that had to be repositioned. That was the agreement. They never showed. TWO MONTHS and several calls to them, Lowe's, and Lowe's corporate and I finally get a call and an apology from Crystal and was told the screen had been thrown away and would be reordered and I'd be notified when it was available. Never happened. It took yet another call to corporate and a formal work order to get them to follow through. They finally show up without one utterance of an apology and then Brandon had the nerve to imply blame on me by suggesting it was a misunderstanding because I said I didn't want the screen anyway so they threw it out. 100% BULLS**T. Then he laughably suggested I call them if I need anything. This company is disrespectful, dishonest, impossible to communicate with, and wholly untrustworthy. I'm truly disgusted. Edit: I took note that when I posted my review that there was only one other review for this company that had been posted 4 months prior. Not a single person bothered to post any other reviews the entire time. Now, all of a sudden, since I posted a 1-star review, I see there are a bunch of vague, 5-star reviews posted ALL at the EXACT same time, immediately after mine was posted. Very suspicious. Looks like an obvious attempt to manipulate their rating. Further evidence, in my mind, that this company is as dishonest as they come. And their response to my post is pretty sad. It seems they're more than happy to brag about their successes while taking little to no responsibility for their failures. They just try to deflect, blame, or cover it up. It's shameful.

Apologies for the miscommunication, I can only say that you where not blamed just simply stated it was a misunderstanding about you not wanting the screen. We did replace your screen as well. Notably we have a great experience with our other customers with no issues at all.
