Blackshears just built a lanai for us in Crystal River. Beautiful! Chuck and Nathan did a fabulous
construction job. Their attention to detail was so impressive. Very happy with the result! Highly recommend the team at Blackshears!

The people at Blackshears aluminum are very nice and professional!  We had some new screens and door put on the pool enclosure and out up our garage screen.  Everything went as scheduled, and even faster than planned!  We are very satisfied with them and will definitely refer others to then and use them again in the future.  Thanks Blackshears, y'all are fantastic?!

We initially decided to contract with Blackshears after seeing their  workmanship at our neighbors and being assured that they were courteous and professional.
On the date of the installation, the tech showed up on time, but it went downhill from there.  After showing him the patio that we contracted to have screening installed, he requested that he be allowed to drive his truck into our back yard.  When I denied his request, he replied "I guess I'll be here all week".   The first opening he tried to install he cut three times and finally decided he could beat it in with a steel headed hammer, bending the corners as he did so.  I called the office and talked to the tech regarding the damage and was told he could paint it when he was done. The office promised they would call him but little changed.
Around 2 in the afternoon after being on the job for 5 hours, he left without a word, although the job was far from finished.  A call to the office and we were told he would be back in the morning between 9 and 9:30am.  When he arrived the next day, he walked directly into our back yard and on to our patio without a word and went to work.
From time to time I walked out to check his progress until he began to caulk the frame.  At that point, I asked him to stop caulking do to a very poor quality and informed him that I would finish the caulk.  He packed up and left without a word.  At this point I again contacted the office and was told he had been doing this for 30 years and was one of there best installers.
Clearly they have or had qualified installers, but based on the one they sent here I would never recommend this company.

Just stopped in for a quote on some repairs.
Greeted by friendly helpful staff and they were able to answer all our questions.
We'll be going back to have the work done there soon.
I will share our experiences.
So far very pleased.

Today Blackshears II installed my new window screens. The man in charge of the installation was efficient and kind and showed me things I never knew about my windows! He provided excellent service!
The estimate process was also transparent and fair with good customer service and the office staff are very friendly and helpful.
Although I was told there would be a long wait between estimate and service, I would ask for better communication between those times to plan for delivery, installation and payment.
Overall, I would absolutely recommend this company to my family and friends!

They have completed many projects for me. Always in time and looks great when they are done!!

A great company to work with. Easy to work with. They replaced screening for the pool cage. They did a beautiful job. We are very pleased with their work. Would use them again

Front screen door replacement:
The first person that came to the house left the job messy. Caulking  blobbed all over screen & wall.
The person installing told me to peel it off the caulk when it dried. Also, the door wouldn't lock & honestly it was looking worse then the door I had replaced. When I called the office to complain, the office lady and then foreman, mansplained to me how caulking & door locks work (😐)
I was asked for pictures (cause they didn't want to waste the trip) and then they agreed it looked like garbage..ten days and a few phone calls later it finally did get fixed.
The door is now beautiful.
