  Eddie Black takes his reputation as a Roofing expert seriously. He makes sure the job is done right and keeps his crew on task. He was here overseeing the job multiples times throughout the day to ensure each phase was done correctly. His crew was fantastic. Tidy, good time management and respectful of our space. We couldn't be happier with the job that was done. No cutting corners, or skimping on the details. We are recommending him to everyone we know who needs a new roof after the storm season.

  Over all, our initial experience with Black roofing was positive. During the initial roof installation we found this company to be professional and courteous. Our problems began after the roof was completed. Following installation, we had a storm that dropped a lot of rain in our area. During this storm, the chimney began to leak. So much so that the water worked its way inside and caused interior damage. We called the insurance company and Black roofing. While the insurance company payed for the damage, Black roofing was to repair the flashing around the chimney, no problems the work was completed along with a promise that it would never leak again . Next bad rain storm same problem. Again the insurance company came out and this time they refused to honor the roof damage due to faulty workmanship and incorrect repairs. While Mr. Black disagrees with the insurance company, my chimney and any additional interior work will not be covered until such time that the repair is done correctly. We spoke with Mr. Black and his answer was instead of fixing the problem, he wanted to patch the patch. After going back and forth on this issue, getting the adjusters involved, Mr. Black finally said to have another company to come fix it and he will pay the bill even though the roof is still under warranty. Our preference would be that Mr. Black would fix the flashing correctly so that we could continue the insurance and only have one roofer to deal with in the future, at this point he refuses and it appears that I am going to have to have another company to come in and fix Mr. Black’s mistakes.
