Our entire metal roof was replaced and we had some damage that needed to be repaired. As soon as we signed our contract Baber sent people out to put a temporary repair on our roof while we waited for the full roof replacement. We were referred to Baber Enterprises by the lady across the street who used them in 2019. We are really, really pleased with the Work Baber Enterprises did. We live in a house built in the 1800's and with great frequency, small projects have become monumental. In 5 days flat they removed and installed a beautiful standing seam roof. Hat's off to Ricky! Since they had prior jobs scheduled they updated me weekly on when they would start my work.  They arrived as scheduled, worked diligently, was very neat and professional.  They repaired an unseen problem and completed job as scheduled.  Very satisfied.

My family owns a Lindal Home in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The home is 19 years old and the original architectural shingles had been destroyed by the winter freeze thaw cycle. Because of the harsh conditions, we elected to go with a standing seam metal roof for increased longevity. Our search for a metal roofing contractor started with recommendations from a few people in the local area and searching internet reviews. Most notably, I reached out to a local custom home builder that is regarded as one of the best in the area. I was very familiar with several of their projects and quality of construction. Without hesitation, the owner recommended Baber Enterprises of Staunton, Virginia. Because I had managed multiple new construction and renovation projects in the past, I requested bids from Baber Enterprises and several other contractors from Charlottesville to Harrisonburg. To put it simply, the price points for some of those bids were absolutely ridiculous and could not be justified in cost per square. With bids in hand, I then asked for previous roofing job site addresses to see firsthand the quality of work and skilled craftsmanship that each roofing contractor provided. At this point our decision was easily made! It was Baber Enterprises of Staunton, Virginia.

We elected to go with a 24-gauge standing seam metal roof for longevity and to minimize what is often referred to as “oil canning”. Because our home has a steep pitched roof (12/12), we also chose a 1- ½” seam height for a more modern appearance. The project from start to finish took almost two months because of the complexity of the roof and numerous penetration points. The finished result was absolutely beautiful and far exceeded our expectations. Craftsmanship in their metal work and attention to detail such as roof pan/standing seam symmetry across the roof was absolutely perfect. What minor issues arose during the course of the project were always resolved to our complete satisfaction. Baber is the best in the business! They are a family-owned business and proud of what they do. You can save yourself the time and effort, just go with Baber Enterprises. If you have to wait a few months, just remember skilled craftsman aren’t available the very next day!

Baber replaced our almost 70 year old metal roof with a new underlayment and shingles.  Over a several day project, the crew arrived promptly in the morning and worked until dark. They were hard working, polite and followed appropriate safety measures.  At the end of each day the crew cleaned the work area, and at the end of the project, they thoroughly cleaned our yard of debris and nails. We feel that we received good quality and workmanship at a competitive price from Baber.

Baber did an excellent job for me. Calls to the office were answered or returned promptly. The crew was very .hard working and cleaned up each day before leaving. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a new roof. I am so glad I chose them.

Once on the job worked quickly and effeceintly. Had some setbacks weather being the biggest. The crews working did an excellent job on the roof and cleanup on the ground. Roof looks excellent and have received many complements on it. If we have any other roofing to be done will definitely call Baber.

Had an insurance claim for a small repair. Used that towards getting the whole roof done. They were very professional and easy to work with. The workers were on time and fast! Our entire roof was finished from removing the old shingles to completely done in 2 1/2 days. Would def use again.
