Great service by great people. I had some decent damage from a storm and decided to give Aloha a call. Wanting just a repair, I didn’t expect them to say I’d most likely qualify for an retire replacement. As it turns out I did. For a new roof, siding, and gutters!!! The inspection process, and material selection was extremely easy and Aloha went out of their way to secure the material I wanted. Thank you Aloha

Aloha Construction replaced our roof and siding. My house never looked so good! The process was easy and seamless and they were there with me every step of the way. They were transparent with communication, did everything they promised, and were very easy do deal with. I recommended them to a bunch of my neighbors, and Aloha ended up doing work on their homes too! Our neighborhood looks better than ever. Thanks to all those involved on my project! Great overall experience with Aloha construction. I called into the office in the fall of last year(2021) for a inspection around my house after a hail storm hit the area. Aloha was very responsive with getting back to me and setting up an appointment with a sales rep. After the sales rep have walked around and found a notable amount of damage we went through a very simple and painless process of calling the insurance company together and getting the claim filed. My insurance company met with another rep from aloha who does the roof inspections and they were able to find enough damage to replace my roof and gutters. After the process of the work started it was finished long before I was expecting it to be. I was very pleased with how respectful the crews were with my landscaping. Quality work!! A storm damaged my roof it needed inspection and replacement. I contacted Aloha, and they set me up with Reggie, and he made the process smooth and efficient. The roof was inspected and repaired promptly, and I owe it to Reggie and Aloha. I would recommend Aloha, and be sure to ask for Reggie.

Workng with Richard Finney of Aloha Construction was very enjoyable.  Extremely easy to work with. Always timely for our appointments. Aloha performed the roof replacement efficiently and on time. Richard worked with our insurance adjuster and we had no problems collecting our insurance proceeds. I would highly recommend Richard and Aloha for any and all roof replacement work needed.

Our family used aloha for a new roof last summer. They were very flexible, completed a new roof in just one day. Very clean work and a great price. I recommend aloha to all my friends and family.

Aloha does not stand behind their work. I had a new roof installed, most of the roof plywood replaced, ice and water shield installed, and new gutters and downspouts.  The roof leaks and the gutters don't drain (See Pictures). When I brought the problem to their attention they were belligerent and argumentative.  They said, "this happens to everyone". I would advise against using Aloha.

Our garage was looking bad, needed everything.  After a storm I saw Eddie B checking out my house and we started talking.  He is a great person and knows his business.  Our garage looks beautiful and was done in 3 days.  New roof, siding,wraps,fascia,soffit and gutters. Thank you Eddie B and Aloha.

We had a new roof installed by Aloha today, with some spots needing extra repair.  We worked with George who did a wonderful job. Aloha replaced our roof and gutters & downspouts.  Jonathan  was our sales person and go to person.  He did an excellent job on handling everything.  The  construction crew showed up on the date scheduled, did a  professional  job on tearing off and replacing our roof.  The next scheduled time was for the gutters & downspouts. This crew was as competent as the roofers. They also did a great job.  Both crews cleaned up after they were finished. We definitely would recommend Aloha and hope everyone is lucky to have Jonathan handling everything!

We recently had Aloha do some work for us installing a downspout on a long stretch of gutter on our home. It was a small job but still worth noting that they did a great job on it and it was completed quickly. I was also pleasantly surprised that they stopped by later to see if we were satisfied with the work. Great job Aloha!

We recently had our roof and gutters replaced with Aloha Construction Inc. It was a big job that was done very professionally and quickly. The salesperson Alex that came to our house explained everything to us and helped us throughout the process of changing the roof and gutters. The workers were doing a very great job, they asked us if we were satisfied with everything. They also did a very great job of cleaning everything after they were finished with the job. I would definitely recommend Aloha Construction Inc. 100% to everyone. Great Job Aloha!!!

Worst experience with a renovation. Aloha installed a black roof with white strip defects all over, which were very visible but they continued and installed anyway, came to an agreement and paid remainder of balance. Project signed in 2012. Sold the home in 2017. Got my first notice for failure to pay in 2020. I even have a notarized letter from their project Manager on my job saying they received all payments. I would suggest using another company. If you use these storm chasers please retain all receipts long after your project is completed and or sale of the home. And request a lien waiver and warranty papers. You'll thank me later.

The communication with this company is terrible. The first person we talked with ended getting fired and we should have known better then. The roof replacement was fine but they were supposed to repair our siding also. After talking with 2 employees face to face, I find out they don’t do siding repair and only do total replacement. No one ever told us this. I think they were hoping to get the insurance company to pay for a full replacement but couldn’t get it. They were shady and lied to us. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

After a hail storm, we immediately contacted Aloha Construction for our home repair. Although we had dozens of sales calls and visits of roofing companies, we decided to go with Aloha due to their good reputation from our neighbors. Mike Thill, a Claims Specialist, was terrific to work with and made great communication with the insurance company and adjuster. What a great company! They did just what they said they would. Eddie B knocked on my door and offered to inspect my house for free to see if I had suffered any storm damage. Not only did he find damage, he helped me get my whole roof replaced using my insurance. My roof looks awesome! They upgraded my shingles and vents too. They said they always upgrade old 3tab shingles with architectural shingles. The whole process happened quick. I would call Aloha again in the future when I need help with my house.

I can’t say enough about Aloha Construction! I worked with Terry and Jeff and they made the process of replacing my roof a smooth one. They explained everything and helped me with my insurance claim. We had our roof and gutters replaced and had Eddie B as our Aloha rep. I'm a first impression type of guy and after a few minutes talking with Eddie I knew he was a down to earth type of guy who will do everything within his power to please his customers. Throughout the whole process Eddie consistently stayed in touch to ensure the project was going smoothly and more importantly we were happy with the work being done. Aloha construction replaced my roof they did a great job, however there was also a leak inside and my ceiling was supposed to be fixed too. However they told me their interior team was running behind so I understood.  Eventually the pandemic happened and it dragged more, a year later I finally called them they have that everything was paid no one could give me an answer as to when it could get done, called several times got insurance involved again and nothing, no one returns my calls when they tell me they will and they just keep giving me the run around. Here we are another year and still no one had fixed my ceiling. At this point I am giving up and unfortunately will have to replace it myself.  I must say I had a great experience with them in the beginning till this. Not cool Aloha not cool

I wanted to share the great experience we had with Aloha Construction for our new roof. Vince worked with our insurance company and us to make the process seemless. Vince was great to work with. He was always available for any questions we had and explained the process every step of the way. No surprises.  The crews that did the roof and gutters/downspouts were professional and proficient. They took extra care to protect our landscaping during removal of the old roof and installing the new roof which we really appreciated. DO NOT USE ALOHA!!!!!! Very shady, incredibly unprofessional. Do not deal with Ryan Behnke or Jim his manager. Everything Ryan said was a lie, he made my husband and I believe that he would help us through the process of having our roof and siding replaced. He ended up not even showing up to our inspection, and once Aloha found out our insurance wasn’t going to replace our roof, they ghosted us. I had to call the office several times to try to get some answers. We never got answers, but did receive an angry call from Jim( supposedly Jim, sounded like Ryan) saying we should be angry at our insurance company, and complain to them. I actually put him on speaker when he called me back, my coworker was listening at him yelling at me, I let him know that he was so rude and hung up on him. Please, please do not use this company, they are just looking for sales at your expense, they do not care and make you feel you can trust them. DO NOT TRUST THEM!!! TERRIBLE experience, find another honest, roofing company.

The storm last weekend produced wind gusts of at least 70 mph in my area.  Our tree in front split in half and had to be removed.  No surprise, we had roof damage as well.  Several sections of roof shingles came loose and were flapping in the wind. The next day I emailed Aloha and within a few hours Ron called to ask about the damage.  He said he would add us to the growing list of homes damaged by the storm.  Two days later the crew was here, they assessed the damage, went to a supply house, and within an hour they were back with matching shingles !!  The repair took about 45 min. and you can’t tell there was ever damage.

I had a great experience with Aloha Construction renovating my hail damaged roof.  They guided me through the claims process, met with the adjuster, and followed through with  a high quality job replacing the roof shingles.  They made the process simple, and there were no surprises. I am glad we had this work done with them, and would recommend them to anyone I know in the same scenario.

I had to get a new roof due to extensive damage from a recent windstorm. Chad, my sales rep, went through everything with me and was incredibly helpful throughout the insurance process, meeting with my insurance adjuster, and explaining everything in detail so we would be satisfied with the results and it would be affordable for our budget. Production of the roof was clean and they took care of everything quickly and efficiently. Overall, they were extremely professional and did a fantastic job! We will definitely be using their services again for our next home improvement project.

At first we were skeptical having a roofing company knock on our door because of all the warnings and stories about storm chasers.  We did our homework on Aloha Construction and gave them a chance, and we were extremely happy with not only the results of the finished job (siding and roof) but also the entire paperwork process and the professionalism of the staff.

There were no headaches with this company and it was a pleasant business experience.  Also, we would like to add they had a large crew for our siding and our home was finished in one day.  Same with our roof.. 1 day.  No regrets.

I had roof damage from a bad hail and windstorm. I noticed some leakage but wasn’t sure what to do or who to call Luckily, Dean, from Aloha Construction, noticed a section of shingles missing from my roof while driving through my neighborhood. From then on he took care of everything, clearly explained the process and several weeks later I have a new, non leaking roof. Dean is easy to work with and communicates clearly about what is going on and what to expect. Part of not being sure of the steps to take to fix the roof was the stress I was anticipating- but working with Dean made it stress-free.

Aloha Construction is a great company with great workers that were very helpful to me with my damaged gutters that they took care of in a timely and very efficient manner. So much so I recommended them to my parents and they got to work right away on the damage to there roof and helped them with some new gutters as well after alerting them to damage they were not aware of which saved them from more damage to the house. We recently contracted Aloha Construction to replace our entire roof after a heavy rain/hail storm caused damage to it.  Aloha worked directly with our insurance adjuster and told us up front exactly what our out of pocket costs would be.  The amount we were quoted was the exact amount we paid after the work was complete.  The day we were told they would be out to do the work is the day they did the work. A representative came out after the crew left to make sure they cleaned up the site and to see if we had any questions. Their representatives and customer service were very professional and knowledgeable.  We are pleased with the work that Aloha did for us and highly recommend them.

I am COMPLETELY clueless when it comes to home repairs, but my parents needed help with their roof after the storms their area had this year, and they had zero idea where to start. I had heard about Aloha Construction through a friend of mine and was referred to a man named Jonathan. Not only was he very professional, but he talks to you not as a salesperson but a friend who really wants to help you. He was never pushy, and guided us literally through every single step to achieve the goal we had in mind. His phone calls were always courteous and he kept CONSTANT contact with us, even through text! So there was no playing guessing games on when the job would get done and we were always on the up and up if anything came up that would delay the process. Everything was done on time and in a professional manner and my parents couldn’t be happier. I highly recommend Jonathan if you choose this company 1000%.

Aloha construction replaced the roof and gutters of my Woodridge home after a storm damage. Even though the work took a little longer than expected, I was very much pleased by the excellent workmanship of the roofers and gutter replacement crew. My house has a clean and new look now.

During the course of the project, I had the opportunity to work with Mr. Jeff Wells, sales manager. He was very professional, polite, knowledgable and was a pleasure to deal with.  I even recommended Aloha to couple of my colleagues who were planning  to replace their aging roofs.

Least transperant company I ever worked with. Donna lied to my face, lied multiple times just to get the business and overcharged me. Now nobody at the company will contact me for a refund.
I had to remind the insurance inspector that there was a mistake in the claim. Not sure what was Aloha purpose to be present during inspection
Also there was miss comunication about my sheds roof. So I found out the shed shingles were not going to be replaced right before material drop off. I waited days to get proper paperwork for the HOE application.
They billed me incorrectly. I'm still waiting over a month to have one downspout corrected. They also damaged my siding and soffits.

Worst company to do business with, just avoid them. They replaced my roof in April 2019. To start they measured the skylight before but during installation time it was a wrong size, 2 people measured it. After removing the skylight they covered it  temporarily with OSB board. Then after 3 months, finally I got the new skylight only problem it was WRONG size again( it was measured 4 times). Now after another month when they tried to install, the crew came without proper tools to install.
But the worst part is that they don’t respond on time and they never meet there appointment schedules. They will keep you waiting for whole day and will not show up. Work with them if have nothing else to do in life.
I will NEVER RECOMMEND Aloha construction company for any work and all.

We are very grateful for the experience that we had with Ryan and Aloha construction. Ryan is such a nice young gentleman and made everything for me and my husband so easy and enjoyable, I can’t even explain how thankful we are for his help and the work Aloha did on our house. Aloha did a great job for us.  They replaced our roof after the hail storm in 2014.  Our roof was initially denied by our insurance carrier, but Aloha worked with them and we were eventually approved for the entire roof to be replaced.  Aloha did all of the contacting and working with the insurance carrier.  Roof was installed on schedule and it looks great.  We will be calling them again for the exterior renovations this coming year.

Eddie B is the man!! He helped me throughout the whole process! As a first time home owner I had tons of questions with insurance and the roofing process and he was so patient with me explaining everything 3x if he had to! Great company when it comes to helping their customers and getting the job done! Great work Eddie!

The process was easy with Aloha.  Chad and Dan were great at explaining the process and the actual installation was trouble free and quick.  The crew that put on our new roof  was polite and very clean,  They prepped the area around the house with tarps and at the end of the install, thoroughly cleaned the entire work area. Great fast reliable service. My claim was placed in January and they were out shortly after in the cold and had my roof and siding repaired very quickly. They're guys work hard and do amazing work. Highly recommend

Horrible company to deal with. They just did our roof and ripped off the insurance company. We dealt with a Mike, who was a creep and a liar. Mike was not up front with the cost of the roof, nor the so called contract he brought to the initial visit. The materials sat at the end of our driveway for over a month. They were a no show on several occasions. Would not recommend them to anybody!! On the other hand, the crew that actually did the work was awesome. They were extremely nice,worked hard, and cleaned up afterwards.

My wife and I hired Aloha Construction to finish our 900 sqft basement (we purchased our home as new construction two months ago; basement was unfinished from the construction company).  Our intention was to transform the basement into an in-law suite for my parents.  Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had a very short timeline to get this accomplished.  The entire project was completed in less than three weeks of construction (it took roughly a week to get the permits approved, so about a month from start to finish) and the end-result is absolutely amazing!  The crew was very accommodating and ensured that they left the site clean and organized at the conclusion of each day.  All work is done in-house with Aloha, with the exception of plumbing and electrical, for which they have specific companies they have used for years.  I was blown away at the level of customer service that we received, as I had many questions and bothered Glenn more than I should have... but all my questions were answered to satisfaction and explanation were given  for absolutely everything.  We continued all the same styling for the rest of the house into the basement; you cannot tell where the construction company stopped and Aloha stared.  Everything is a seamless transition!  The full basement bathroom matches exactly with the master bathroom shower and tub from upstairs.  We could simply not be happier with how this project turned out!  Lastly (and most importantly for finances) was the price.  Aloha was hands down the best priced company we talked to... some companies quoted as much as 50k for the same job that Aloha accomplished for 27k!  If you are looking for a company to handle any form of construction without your home, call Glenn @ Aloha immediately!

I posted a request for some siding work on Home Adviser and an Aloha representative responded (Ryan).  Ryan provided an estimate and we then exchanged numerous texts and voice mails, but progress to a contract was slow.  I called the Aloha office with a concern about the lack of a contract and received a quick and excellent response from Jimmy.  I now have a contract and am looking forward to a timely repair.  Despite the initial difficulty I can testify to quality customer service.  Both Ryan and Jimmy took immediate action to resolve matters.

I would say that they did come out and do the work and they did a great job at a reasonable price. However, it took 2 weeks just to get a hold of someone. When they did the roof they failed to have my bathroom exhaust vented to the outside and is directly venting into the attic. So they told us to just run a pipe to the soffit. Why couldn’t they just do it? And now I’m having a hard time selling my house! I would of paid extra to have it done. So that’s why I wouldn’t rate 5 stars.

here at our home during the inspection. On top of everything. Coordinated everything.
Delivered materials, put on in two days (big house), cleaned up
everything, and we had 2 different people inspect and walk the roof.
Donna kept up with us along the way - insurance paid. Gorgeous new roof.

I was skeptical when a representative of Aloha knocked on our door offering to provide us with a new roof.  You know the drill, door to door cold callers are to be suspected of nefarious motives.  That was my first impression but I couldn't have been more inaccurate in my perception.  It took several attempts to persuade my wife and I to even consider the offer.  Once I did, it seemed too good to be true so we laid down the gauntlet and asked for some local references.  The references checked out.  About the same time, while conversing with a long time friend with several years roofing trade experience,  I learned his father in law had recently taken Aloha up on their offer and his experience was a good one.  We looked his new roof, gutters and siding over and found it to be of high quality materials and excellent workmanship.  I decided to go with Aloha and could not be more pleased with the outcome.  Everything from start to finish went exactly as represented, on time and with no surprises.  I recommend Aloha wholeheartedly and would not hesitate to do business with them again.

my experience with aloha construction was great. After a horrible storm that hit my area aloha showed up and took care of everything for me from the claim with my insurance company to the building of my brand new roof and siding, all paid for by my insurance company thanks to aloha. the work was done with professionalism and in a timely manner. I called Aloha due to some water damage on the interior of my home. I was fortunate to have Aloha Debbie as my guide through the process. I can't speak highly enough of Aloha. My lake resort sustained heavy wind and hail damage that caused leaking. Dean reached out and understood that being a vacation resort heading into our busy season this would need to get done asap. Brad and Kevin led the charge in working with the adjuster and narrowing the time frame. Seven cottages and our Event Hall were completed in 3 days! That is 8 buildings, folks! The crew is insanely fast and super clean. You may read "fast" and think sloppy, but I can tell you as the person who rehabbed this whole resort with 9 years of construction under my belt that they were well educated on the materials and placement. This is such a major improvement to our resort and my guests will know the difference.

Professional. Honest. Reliable. Outstanding Workmanship. A+++ standing from this very satisfied customer. My house was started  Tuesday, May 3nd and completed the same date! That couldn't of happened without the talented craftsmen on the job. They completely removed the old shingles, wrapped the house, passed inspection. WOW!!! Take a breath here. They had a goal and they completed it. Not rushed, but with conviction.

Aloha Construction in Lake Zurich will show you that there is still quality work and customer service around today.  From start to finish, I could not be happier.  Chad was my go to person and always a phone call away in case I needed any questions answered making this a no-hassle experience.  They even cleaned up my around my home twice, because I have 2 dogs and they didn't want any debris to harm them.  I highly would recommend this company.

I can’t say enough great things about this company and their employee Ron. As an older man, Ron was very patient with me and took his time to answer all of my questions. My house looks amazing, the clean up was great. Having dogs it’s very important that there were no nails left in my yard. My neighbor used some storm chaser instead of doing her homework and now her skylight leaks and they had nails all over their yard... including in their car tires! It was a stress free day for me when the Aloha workers showed up to my home for phase 1 of my multi-level repairs from the hail storm damage of May 2nd in my neighborhood.   The roofing team guided by Losho was absolutely AMAZING.   Such a professional group of workers!  They exhibited a highly professional work ethic.  From the moment they arrived, they took extreme caution to protect my property by removing all the patio furniture, grill, solar lights, plants and flowers from my deck and applied protective covering.  That same care was given to our bushes, flowers and landscaping all around our home.  They even removed, and were highly respectful, of the flag that hangs from our home.  As the workers began, I offered bottles of water to the team, but with their best manners, they declined.  “No mam, we’re all good.  Thank you mam.”  Then their busy work day continued.  With the forecast of rain due later that day, I was assured that my tear off roof and replacement would be completed before the storm arrived.  Throughout the day, Cody visited several times to check on the team and answer any questions that I had.  Again… more professionalism.  When the team wrapped up the roof replacement, they put my home back to order right down to every detail.  I even wondered if they had taken a picture to assure that everything was in its exact location, right down to placement of my plants and solar lights.   Before exiting the property, they went over, not only my property, but each of my adjoining neighbor’s properties as well, with a giant magnet to remove any possible nails that they might have missed.  This task was done twice to assure that none were missed.  Each of Losho team politely dismissed themselves and thanked me for my kindness.   What???  They were the people to thank for such an amazing job.  Shortly thereafter, Cody returned for his final inspection of the work that was performed.  While asking if I had any questions/concerns, sounds of thunder signaled to us that the predicted storm was quickly approaching.  As we chatted, Cody carefully checked all our properties one last time for any run-a-way nails or debris that escaped.  With nothing found, Cody dismissed himself by providing an update of the next steps to my home’s storm repairs.  While walking up my driveway, a neighbor across the cul-de-sac yelled over, “congratulations.”  The 2 onlookers walked over as the rain was just beginning.  Jim and David had been watching the roof progress throughout the day.  They both commented on how nice the roof looked and even took note of the new plywood that was put down before the shingle installation.  Both also commented on the cleanup detail that was done to perfection.  Taking note of the Aloha van that Cody drove when he visited, these neighbors stated that they would be calling Aloha for their repairs.  I provided them each with a copy of Aloha’s business card.  As the skies opened, we all departed.  I walked up my driveway smiling ear to ear.  Perfect timing to phase one’s completion.   Thank you to ALL the Aloha associates for a job extremely well executed.  Whew!   Panic attack averted.  =D

I had my roof replaced by Aloha because of hail damage. Their rep, Debbie Ferreri, was proactive throughout the whole procedure and made sure everything was done right. She handled everything from the initial inspection through the installation and billing. I was very pleased with her performance.

Storm chaser just looking to get insurance money. Mike T showed up at my door with the blah blah blah hail damage and said my neighbor signed up too. I gave him a chance, he called a few times asking if insurance company called for the claim, The appointment was for Monday. Mike and insurance agent met at the house that day, Mike called said he would stick around til I get home for picking out a color for the roof, never heard back from Mike, but 8 hours later the claim agent called at 7pm and said it was denied.  To Mike,  It's usually good business practice to provide a courtesy call that it was denied and not disappear into the wind and still leave your goofy aloha sign in my yard.  Only shows you were out for the insurance money. Also, it would be a good idea to go on the roof and inspect it before claiming hail damage when you couldn't show the claim agent one damaged shingle.  A simple phone call saying sorry man, but it was denied ,would have went a long way. Probably a blessing in disguise, after reading yelp reviews.Owner, please save your copy and paste responses, you aren't helping yourself.

This company is really run well and the whole process was painless. Our salesman Eddie Brooks was a no pressure salesman. The roofers did a really good job as well as the siding crew. We couldn’t be more happy with them.

Roofs look great as well as gutters. On time and quality work. Jonathan is the best salesman ever. Would recommend Aloha Construction for sure.

The most disappointing and stressful experience I have ever had in dealing with any company. I had them come out to fix areas on the interior and exterior of my house in July two summers ago. They told me  I also needed new siding on the house due to storm damage. They didn't start any work until late November. After siding was finished they never completed the initial job I called them out for. They told me I needed to contact another company since it wasn't a big enough job for them. A month later they  completed the interior work but charged me more than what was on the initial contract. So many other issues along the way but too many to mention. They are  con artists. Companies like this won't stay in business

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. They have absolutely no idea what the term customer service means, especially Jim. They way my parents were spoken to when they inquired about the damage done to our home during the work Aloha did on our house, was completely unacceptable. I'm using Aloha Construction  to replace my roof. Melissa has been my contact person and she has been amazing! She is very knowledgeable and explains everything so well!

Aloha did work on my parents home after a storm. As a roofer myself I was very impressed with the quality material they used. As well as the roofers on site being as clean as they were and getting the job done in just one day.

Duncan was incredibly patient with my many questions. He was willing to some take the time to do a thorough review of the roofing problem and give a fair price for the service. I had my roof fixed yesterday and I’m impressed with the workmanship.Duncan did everything he promised and wouldn’t hesitate to call him again with any roof issues
