  I met with Jim in sales in January 2022, and, after providing a picture of the roof replacement across the row from my house as an example of what I wanted, their use of drones, in person pictures, signed a contract, and made two deposits. (The critical difference here is that my row house is between two other row houses, and across the row, the roof was seamlessly meshed into the abutting roofs.) Steve, a project manager, whom I didn't meet, decided that parapets would be needed on either side, sometimes described as 'walls.' I didn't understand why, I received, but didn't sign, a change order to add parapets. Xterior Solutions also needed waivers signed by the abutting owners. While there is no HOA, and this isn't a condominium, one abutting owner signed the waiver (which I wasn't given to review), the other owners were unhappy about the parapets, although they had approved the seamless roof replacement across the row which abutted another row house which they own. Although the signed contract cannot be amended without agreement by both Xterior Solutions and myself, or cancelled, Xterior Solutions cancelled it. In March.
