I had a really great experience working with Joe and his team. We did a new roof, new gutters, several new windows and new siding throughout the entire house. The guys did a great job with the installation and were always on time. They even cleaned up all of the garbage at the end of the job. I had been in the market for a new roof and windows for about a year- Someone I work with suggested that I call Window Depot and WOW I was blown away from the minute my rep came out to my house- his knowledge was mind blowing. Wayne explained how the roof would be replaced and how if extra wood is needed, they would send me pictures to show me what was being replaced. Fast Forward to install date -They were able to do my roof and widows in 2 days and I am loving how it all turned out.

I contracted with Window Depot to install siding on my home.  What a great job; even better are the employees who came every day to do an exceptional job.  They are courteous, professional, and prompt.  Their work is well done, a quality product.  What is amazing is that they repaired, painted, and secured the wood piece that keeps my back door step firm and secure (not included in the contract!).  Great work, great men, great service.  The office staff and owner are also personable and accessible.  No question is too small and not once did I get any kind of negative feedback; they are patient, professional, and made me feel confident that I made the right choice choosing, Window Depot of Long Island.

My wife wanted to replace our living room window with a bay window. We searched for a reputable window installer in our area and sought out "Window Depot" of South Hempstead due to the positive reviews that we read about them. Joe Dortona assisted us in choosing a window that would be suitable for our needs. After we made our choice, he patiently answered the numerous questions that we asked.

One incident that impressed us was when we asked Joe about a specific window, he informed us that he could provide us with the window in question, but it could be purchased at a cheaper price with another company, which he named.

Carl DiPresso set up a convenient time to come and take the necessary measurements and he too answered more of our queries. When the installers came, they were extremely courteous and professional. They did a wonderful job and were neat and exhibited a great deal of consideration for our property as they worked.

My wife and I are extremely pleased with the installation. If we should decide on any other projects such as this, we know exactly where to go.

Ladies and Gentlemen I gave Window Depot a bad review several days ago, at the time I was very upset with the manner I was being treated, but I received a call from the owner Rob and he came to my home personally and remeasured the shutters and promised that he would personally take care of the 6 shutters that were to short. Wow who does that I thank you Rob for coming out, and I recommend Window Depot to all, just have some patience, my house looks great and I thank Rob and his staff for helping me.

Window Depot replaced our roof. It was a wonderful experience. Joe D supervised an amazing crew. They started and finished when promised Our neighbors couldn't believe how much effort was expended covering nearby cars and cleaning up spotlessly at the end of every work day.  Highly recommended

Purchased 16 windows from Window Depot in 2016. After a couple years, we started noticing a moldy looking substance on the bottom ledge of every window. It looks disgusting and I’m annoyed ever time I look at these windows. I contacted window depot and was told dirt got in through the seems and they could have someone came and remove the outer plastic cap on every window, clean them and caulk them so it doesn’t happen again. My issue with that is, I should have to have them caulked. Clearly there is a manufacturer defect if this happens to begin with and  when someone came out to look at the windows, and removed one the the outer caps, they chipped it trying to take the cap off.... and having all my NEW window caps chipped is not the look I’m going for. To top it off... I was told the life time warranty we had (and the reason we used WD) is now void because the manufacturer went out of business.... even though our contact does not state the warranty is with the manufacturer. So for anyone that purchase windows pre Covid you warranty is gone.
