Love this place. Can get great lumber and know I’m doing right! PS reviewers: as someone who has worked in reclamation, I can assure you the prices are justified. Every stick of wood has to be removed, transported, denailed, sorted and stored. That stuff is SUPER expensive to do. So please- cut these guys a break!

We’ve gone here three times to try to purchase something and walked away empty handed every time. Prices are way too high! They are charging way more than half the cost of new for stuff they got for free or got paid to remove. The place is a mess! Broken glass, stacks of broken parts, etc... everywhere. Definitely wear solid boots and be careful. Smells like rot, because things are sitting there rotting, because the prices are ridiculous.

Marie, Thank you for your honest feedback. Sorry your experience was not up to your standard of excellence. We are doing the best we can with the tools we currently have. Salvage is not an easy endeavor and nothing in that yard has been given for free. The cost to carefully remove and transport materials by hand is high. We pay a living wage and insurance on all our employees not to mention the overhead of operating a business that is dusty, dangerous, and unglamorous. No one is getting rich selling used materials and keeping them from the landfill. Yes some things look like junk at the storage yard but you know what they say about one mans trash being another ones treasure? It is a fine line and there is certainly room for improvement. We are planning and saving to build a building and have lumber racks and paving. Give us a few more years of sales and growth and you may be surprised. We are certainly a diamond in the rough by multiples and attract a diverse range of clients. It is controlled chaos and is not for everyone. Yes. Please tell people to wear appropriate footwear. Today it was a muddy mess thanks to the much needed rain. Take care.

Professional crew that took meticulous care to mitigate dust during a dirty basement demolition. Preserved materials well for future use. Job was finished ahead of schedule and under budget.
Response from the owner
Thank you Taylor. We all were lucky the wall was not cemented strongly together. You never know what you will find until you start the deconstruction process. Yes we take dust seriously when we are in a clients home. Plastic is relatively cheap compared to the hassle of dusting all surfaces. Cheers. Martin and crew.
