  Well gosh. I've rarely had nice things to say about Walmart, but they really did well today. The produce is very fresh and cheaper than most other places. The cashier was pleasant, courteous, smart and had a sense of humor. The lady in front of us was friendly and kind, just a random customer, but it brightened our day. Just one little criticism: there could be more checkout lanes open. Those cashiers are hard working and competent, but Walmart needs more of them. We don't like the self checkout, never have, never will.

  This review is for curbside pickup. It's nonexistent. I ordered at 1pm, the order was supposed to be ready in two hours. It was nearly 6 hours before I had to cancel it to get my purchase. When I arrived at the pickup time of 4:43 pm, I received a text saying the order was "delayed". By 6:30 pm, I had spent the previous hour and a half being sent between electronics and customer service. Both lines were long and I understand it's the holidays. So, I waited in line each time. No one could release my purchase although they were holding it at the electronics register for me. I was told by two managers that the "system" is flawed (to paraphrase their terminology) and that "most people" just cancel the order when they get to the store to pay at the register. So at 7 pm, I gave up and purchased it a second time. It wasn't clear if the order would be refunded right away and the item cost several hundred dollars, so it was beyond frustrating to have to tie up that much in funds just to pickup the one item I ordered. I ordered online to make sure it wasn't sold before I got there, but it turned out to be a 6 hour nightmare. I will never use their online "curbside" pickup again. Its a shame they spent so much money installing a whole section in the parking lot for this purpose, but they cannot fulfill the orders.

  These 5 stars are for the guy at the deli, today Sunday-Jan 16 at 1:45, thank you! You were kind and professional to all that were waiting. It's not easy when there is only 1 person working the deli, but you make the wait ok. Also, 5 stars to the ladies at the bakery who helped me with fresh delicious bread. You went out of your way twice and we appreciate you. Having the best sandwich right now! Please management, take good care of employees like these, they make the difference, and times are hard.
