United Builders installed my new countertops along with getting all the countertops leveled and ready for install. The level of customer service and accommodating schedule surpassed my expectations. They were able to get the counter tops installed with less than ideal weather conditions and made my dream kitchen come to a reality. I highly recommend their knowledge and expertise that made my finished kitchen something that will last a lifetime. Thank you again for a job well done!

United Builders finished some interior work for us on our family’s cabin. They were professional, honest and they did fantastic interior work. In addition, they kept the work area clean! They were quick to respond with any questions we had about the status of the project and were flexible if we needed to make changes. In the future, we will definitely consider them for projects. And, we will certainly recommend them to friends and family!

I would give minus points for the "United Builders." This is a family-owned (Mother and sons) and operated business. You might want to read my experience before you consider hiring these guys. I hired "United Builders" based on their professional-appealing internet web page and that they are people with faith. They even helped to find the land since I live in Oregon. Our contract was established on June 8th, 2021, and I paid $87,386.58 cash- As a registered nurse, I saved up for this forever home to work part-time at home. I made 9 payments, $ 9,709.62 each, $84, 150 total. However, after the 9th payment, one of the brothers (the older one) was searching for cheaper materials for the house. For example, one day, he walked around the local stores, taking pictures of the gray metal roof and sending me 3 gray metal roof samples, even though we decided on the colored metal roof at the beginning of the contract. He insisted that there was no price difference. But I found out that the colored metal roof is always more expensive. There were more similar examples. I was getting concerned, so I asked him/them to be honest via email. He/they broke the contract (house is about 45% done) right after he/they read my email. I request them to return my down payment since he/they broke the contract for their/his own convenience. They refused. Instead, they covered my roof with plastic stuff and asked for almost $23,000- what thieves! After they broke the contract, I learned more disturbing things- they exposed my land so much that my property is at risk for mudslide - there is a neighbors house downhill. I never permitted them to disturb my land in such way- by cutting so many trees and removing roots. Also, they never informed me about it, so I never knew. I had to find out on my own. The house is not built appropriately. An inspector told me that a lot of improvement needs to be done on the house. The "United Builders" are very dishonest, incompetent, and scary people. The older one assured me that he would build my house close to the main road so I wouldn't pay any money bringing electricity into my property. It turned out he built my house too far downhill, GVEA charged me $3,010. I've been asking them for my "house plan," but they failed to provide it. So it only means two things: they built my house without the plan, or the plan is so terrible that they cannot even show it to me. "United Builders" are made out of a prominent family in Nenana, Fairbanks, Alaska. One of them is the current Mayor of Nenana, and the other one ran for the House Representative in 2020. However, no one is above the law. Stand by for updates.
