  While you can't call them a scam, they certainly would fall into incredibly inept. Last year we had them replace roofing on a rental in Yuba city. When we had the gutters cleaned a few months later, the cleaner mentioned that the roofing closest to the gutter was severly erroded and sections of missing roof sheathes. When we called them a couple months ago , the owner was sick, they had no employees and would get back to us. So they get to us this week and state that it's another $3500 to finish the section that was not included. The contract stateded repair of the roof, never did they say sections were excluded. While my next email will be to the State Contractors Board, I wanted to take the time to warn anyone considering using this company. They may have been decent at one time, currently they are incompetant and shady as they will not complete a job but rather exculde sections and you';ll need to call them back. Their Warranty is worhtless as its pretty much just a husband and wife team that sounds like they are financially desperate.

  It can be scary picking a roofing contractor out of a phone book or off of the internet without knowing their work or pricing. I work in construction and have friends and acquaintances in the trades. I received several estimates last year for a new composition shingle roof. My wife and I were out for a walk and saw Thompson a roofing's sign. We decided to get one more estimate from him and are glad we did! Thompson's estimate had a better quality shingle and a better price then we received a year ago from other contractors. He and his crew did an excellent job and the workmanship was outstanding! The gutter crew he used did a great job on the miters and downspouts! If you are looking for a quality roof and gutters at a great price don't hesitate to call this company!! Rod B.

  Don't bother. Flaky roofer. Scheduled time for inspection/estimate then no showed. Did not answer or return calls to confirm/reschedule.
