  I was scheduled for a tree to be trimmed at 0900 they never came. I called and was told they would talk to the owner. An hour later I called back and was told they would call me after lunch. Two hours later I called back and they said they were coming the next day. This is unacceptable I would miss $600 from working to wait for them to come and make $1275. I do not recommend this business.

  Warren, I am Shane Austin, the owner of The Austin Company. My company is in the construction business and we provide services related to home renovations and commercial development. I am so sorry that you had so much trouble with the tree service company that you contacted. My company is not affiliated at all with the tree service company that you contacted. I am aware of the company that you contacted but I don't want to mention the name of that company because it would violate Google's terms and conditions of our contact. Please allow me to explain a serious problem that I have been addressing with Google about our reviews. About two years ago my company started receiving calls from customers inquiring about trimming and cutting trees down but unfortunately my company does not do tree removal services. As a business owner, I tried to assist those customers by recommending some of the popular tree service companies in our area. In fact, I even looked the phone number up for the customers that asked me for their number. At the time I did not understand why so many customers were requesting tree removal services but then one of those customers told me that he got my business number off Google. After looking at our Google business information I discovered a lot of problems. Somehow my business information and the business information from the tree removal company was changed. My business phone number was listed as that tree removal company's phone number and his company's business phone number was listed on my business Google pages. Also, photos that I posted of construction renovations and some of our reviews was on the tree removal company's pages and the same thing happened to my company's business pages.This is why your review and a couple more are now showing up under my construction company's reviews. I do not know how our information got mixed up between the two businesses but it's been extremely difficult for me as a business owner to fix the problem. I have been dealing with this problem for a few years. I have managed to get my business number and services listed correctly. Google fixed a few reviews but not our photos of prior work. I had requested google several times to remove the reviews that did not belong to my company but I still have not been able to correct all of them. I have submitted another request to have a few reviews removed and yours was included. I'm sorry you had a bad experience with that tree removal company and a lot of his customers that called my company when our phone numbers were switched around expressed very similar concerns as well. If you don't mind helping me, I would like to ask you to look at your review to see if you can edit the business name that your review is under and change it back to that tree removal company's review. I want to take the time to thank you for reading my long response and I do hope I was able to provide you with some clarity on how my construction company is linked to your review. I would also like to suggest that you go to that tree removal company's business page and repost your review so other potential customers of his will be aware of what happened when you requested a tree removal service. If you ever need home repairs or renovations I would like the opportunity to earn your trust and business. I do provide free estimates and references from prior customers if requested. I assure you that your experience with my company would be a lot deferent. My workmanship is impeccable and I let all my customer's know that if there is anything they don't like about the work being performed or want to change something along the way to let me know immediately.   Called and got a estimate. Called the owner 3 times to cut down the trees. Each time he said he was on his way and never showed up. Very poor customer service.
