  TEAM Builders did a great job constructing our new deck. They completed the work in less than four days, were always professional and respectful while they were on our property and cleaned the area well after completion. Would recommend the company highly.

  COMPLETE Roof replacement! Living in Cedar Rapids after the Derecho left a majority of us with damage to our home! Ours included. Fortunately, we were able to wait until spring to have the damage fixed. After contacting T.E.A.M Builders, I was pleasantly surprised at their quick response! First via Zoom we discussed my needs. Then, they came to my home to review the needs and show me options of materials available to use. The quote ended up being more than insurance initially gave me (because material costs increased since last fall!). But no worries! Their staff contacted my insurance and I had a check in hand my the end of the week for the variance! Materials and dumpster were dropped off on Tuesday. Crew was at my home by 7 am. They moved anything near the home and placed a tarp around the parameter to keep the mess to a minimum. They we done by mid afternoon. Cleaned up all items, cleaned any marks from my siding, ran a magnet to pick up nails from the yard. When they were done, you wouldn’t have know they were there. Except for the brand new roof!!

  They have done other smaller jobs for us in the past and they were timely. We had our basement remodeled end of dec-march 2021. Their direct staff that did the framing were great. We were disappointed by their subcontractors. First off while priming the wall they got paint splattered on our pocket door at the top of the stairs, when they put dry wall up the screws are too long and poke out inside the frame on unfinished side of utility. They had to reorder the doors after they were chopped off at the wrong height.They initially did not cut a whole for the ac return, and then had to repair a hole that was left for a few weeks after they did cut it. The ac vents were cut too large at first, and after they were fixed they didn't put the vent cover back up. We opted to do the painting for the walls, but the sub contractor splashed white all over the wall and either decided they wouldn't fix it because they didnt paint it initially or were going to take weeks to come back out. Their subcontractor on more than one occasion told Team Builders they were coming over and they just didn't show up or stay late like they requested. They seemed to have multiple jobs going on at once (framers were called off our job to help at the start) that were bigger and got done before ours. Some of these seem small but this was not a cheap remodel. We have referred many people over the last 3 years to them, and think we'd have to actively warn people away at this point. Update- They will come back out and fix any problems you have though so that helps! Our doors wouldn't shut after the carpet went in and they came out right away to fix the doors when I contacted them.

We completely apologize and after finding out about these problems from subcontractors (that we are no longer working with for reasons listed above) We feel as if we came back out and gave you our time and attention to get things fixed and the way that you wanted. We are sorry you feel that way
