Be very, very careful when hiring a roofing contractor. This company took advantage of a family member who trusted them to do the roof replacement. My cousin is the type of person who will not argue nor confront anyone so here I am writing this review on his behalf so people do their homework before hiring any contractor. Last year the man who owns this company showed up to my cousin's property to do a roof inspection, little did he know is I was observing him from the second floor window how he was performing the inspection. I found it very strange that he was bending not just 1 or 2 or 3 shingles but several of them. He promised my cousin that the roof would get paid in full by the insurance because it was " damaged". Later The insurance company noticed something wrong with the shingles and sent a licensed engineer to inspect the "damage" roof. A couple of weeks later the engineer's report concluded the roof shingles were damaged on purpose by someone and the claim was denied. Now my cousin is still dealing with this issue and it is still under investigation. It was obvious the condition of the shingles were altered to get this insurance claim paid in a fraudulent manner. It is sad that some so called contractors have to resort to this to make easy money, most don't get caught because it only takes one person to climb up on the roof to do the inspection and they can do whatever they want with your roof at that point...they can lie to the homeowner, to their friends, to their wives and the insurance company. Do your homework before hiring a contractor, run a background check on the person trying to get your business...background checks say a lot about an individual.

Mr. Pacheco, We have no record of anyone by this name in our customer files. However, we do hundreds of roofs that are paid for through insurance for storm damage every year. Sometimes shady insurance companies hire shady engineers to blame contractors' "aggressive inspection" for altering storm damage, or they imply fraud like you are doing. It is an intimidation and bullying tactic they do to deny legitimate claims. Every inspection of a storm damaged roof involves the lifting of shingles to inspect the bottom for wind driven debris, pliability and repairability. These shingles cannot be lifted unless they've already been damaged by a storm and the bond is broken. No one from our company, least of all our owner, engages in insurance fraud and any suggestion otherwise is slander and defamation of character that interferes with our ability to do business and causes us direct financial harm. You will be hearing from our attorney if this review is not removed immediately.

Severe wind damage caused a leak. Reached out to a friend who had used Eric and Superior Services of PA & MD. Eric stepped up and was out within 2 days of me contacting him. He put a temporary patch on my roof and got busy taking care of getting the insurance to cover the repair. His crew came out and replaced my roof in 1 day! They did a professional quality job! Cleaned up all debris 100% and then some! Definitely recommend Superior Services of PA & MD!

Hired Superior Services on the recommendation of a friend after my house had significant wind damage. Eric immediately took over all of the ridiculous haggling with the insurance company and did an excellent job of keeping me updated. The new roof and siding they installed look great!! Very honest company, I have since hired them to do additional work on my house.
