  You won't be sorry you chose Steele Roofing in Austin. Bryan McCallum and his crew are amazing. We had recent hail damage to our home in Round Rock and Bryan and his team worked tirelessly to get us back in great condition! I'm a Real Estate agent by trade and know the value of a good contractor, especially when it comes to a roofing contractor you can trust. Steele Roofing does the job right the first time and not only have I used them personally, I've referred them to my clients whom have all been very happy with their service. Definitely a 5⭐️ experience!

  Like many people in the area, we were hit by hail in mid-April. I wish I had called Steele Roofing to start with, but I called a local roofing company who we’d used previously for a smaller repair. They were so busy that communication simply wasn’t happening. I’d waited weeks for an inspection and then contacted them to go ahead with the work after insurance had approved our claim, but after multiple emails, texts and phone calls we were simply ignored. There wasn’t even a “sorry we’re so swamped, please be patient” type of response, so I finally gave up. About this time, another roofer was circling our neighborhood and I was tempted just to go with him since he was there. I looked into his company, and it would have probably been fine, but between a few complaints on the BBB website, and catching him stretch the truth a few times in our conversations, I was leery. So, I started looking at other options and came across Steele Roofing since a neighbor was planning on using them. I gave them a call and they promptly put me in contact with Brian who arranged to come out the next day. When he came out, he met with my husband, explained the process, answered questions, etc. He was very professional and easy to communicate with. We learned that Steele Roofing is a family-owned business and had been working out of Tyler for about 10 years. They had planned on opening another location in the Austin area before Covid delayed their plans. Between the recent hail and Covid becoming less of an issue, they had decided this was the time to expand. I checked into their BBB, their licensing, their reviews and they looked pretty good, so we went ahead with Steele and I’m so happy we made that decision. Once we decided on Steele, Brian handled any further insurance issues, and communicated well with us throughout the entire process. He would let us know things like when and how things would be delivered, when the gutters would be taken down and replaced, and finally when the roof would be replaced. My roof was replaced this last Wednesday. When they arrived around 7 am, they stripped the entire roof and checked for any damage that would not have been visible before, then got right to work replacing the roof. They left around 8 pm. All was finished that day except the patio cover and the shed, which they finished up early the next morning. They cleaned up before they left Wednesday night and again after they finished the final parts on Thursday. They cleaned up so well, it looks like they were never here (except for our nice new roof, of course.) The entire crew was incredibly efficient and professional. Brian kept in contact throughout the day to make sure we knew what was going on and answer any questions. Overall, from the moment we made the decision to go with Steele, the daunting process of replacing our roof has been so much easier than I ever expected and, most importantly, done correctly. If you have hail damage and need your roof replaced, or having any other roofing issues, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Steele Roofing.
