Stay Dry provided a competitive proposal, and an above average plan for replacing my roof with quality materials and a short completion time. They did what they said they'd do, both contractually and verbally. Special kudos to David, Elvis, Daniel and Rudy. At job end, Daniel, the owner,  inspected my new roof and made sure that it was as proposed and that I was pleased. That's excellent attention to detail and concern for his customer!

1. Daniel was very professional, detailed and patient with us throughout the entire process of installing our roof. …. explaining from the beginning to the last minute. All questions answered and ALL calls was returned right away.
We received pictures of our roof throughout the roof installation. We had 6 quotes and we picked StayDry because of Daniel’s quote and thorough    presentation.

2. The office manager, Uli was very nice,  professional and friendly. She answered and returned ALL calls right away if we had questions.

3. The workers!!! Wow!!  Very HARD workers.
They never, ever stopped working.
(only for lunch) and to go home.  By the end of their day… I was tired. Our roof is very pretty and the job was well done. We are very pleased.

4. RUDY, Rudy, Rudy…. VERY  friendly and funny guy.   Joyful, with lots of laughter.  And with all the joyful laughter, he was very professional.
And he did a great job.

Never trust this company to do your roof. You call for an estimate and get a salesman you will never see or hear from again. Questions about the job? All you get is a desk clerk that says she will pass along the message twice a day for three weeks until the day of the job. Questions about the commencement paperwork? You will not be able to get a roofer, or anyone for that matter, to explain or go over anything with you. All you get is a copy of commencement and a tapping foot from the desk clerk that answers the phone. If you call to say you want to turn it in but can not before talking to someone about the commencement, to answer questions, they just rolls their eyes and tell you to get it turned in so they can go over it. I asked for someone to reach out to me to go over the job and the options available so I can get it turned in. I called in consistently for three weeks prior to ask these questions so we can progress.I get a man on the night before they come out to do the job and he is in the hospital pulling his child out of this wife and is obviously too busy to go over anything or help me feel comfortable with the job. Did anyone else in the company want to cover this man or make sure their customer is understood? No. Take care of your employees Stay Dry Roofing, and take care of your customers. When they got here the day of the job they told me they had me signed up for every extra option available. When I tell you I was livid that I tried calling and communicate with the company in every way and it turned out like this, would be an understatment. I literally had to call the company tow times three weeks after the job to come take my money, that is how unprepared this company is. I thought the only saving grace was that I thought they did a good job while they were up there. Turns out I have had to call them twice already for two separate moderate to heavy leaks in the roof. After communicating all of these issues and to the employees i was finally able to get a hold of weeks after the job, they agreed with me and understood my frustration as all of these issues accumulated and the leaks were the last straw. They explained there is nothing they can do to reciprocate. If you have read all of this, consider yourself warned. Steer clear of Stay Dry Roofing.

We were very disappointed with the service provided by Stay Dry!  Multiple delays and lack of return calls from the “owner” Daniel.

My husband posted a negative feedback here and it disappeared.

Sub-contractors left substantial amounts of nails and roofing material around the house, in the trees, on the ledges.

They miscalculated the requirements and ran out of roofing material and told us, since we don’t have the material, we’re leaving and going to another job site to finish that one (which they had also miscalculated).

Two Off-center vents were supposed to be installed and when my husband asked where they were, he was told, well they ordered the wrong ones and we are waiting for them to arrive.  If he hadn’t inquired as to where they were, I’m sure they wouldn’t have installed them.

You have to stay completely on top of this company to “push them” to do a job that you paid in excess of $10,000.00 dollars!  Buy beware!

After receiving 6 different quotes for our new roof, we went with Stay Dry. Every roofing company has positive and negative reviews, which caused us a lot of concerns. David Torres was fantastic,  answered every question we could think of, and put all our concerns to rest. The crew that showed up was amazing, professional and fast, in 2 days our roof was done.  We loved our experience so much with Stay Dry Roofing that we recommended it to my parents who desperately needed a new roof and they had Stay Dry replace theirs as well with fantastic results. Can't say enough good things about Stay Dry and their customer service, really amazing staff and management from start to finish.  Read the reviews, get as many quotes as you need and then do yourself a favor and call Stay Dry Roofing and get the best roof out there with the least amount of hassle.

Stay-Dry installed a new roof on our home in 2020.  There have been many issues.   First, they roofed over our dryer vent.   When the dryer stopped working I called our appliance repair company and explained what it was doing, and they said it sounded like the vent was clogged.   When I said a new roof had just been laid they knew that was the problem.  Stay-Dry denied it had anything to do with the roof, and showed me a wasp nest in a vent (a vent I have since learned is not even related to the dryer) and said that was the problem.  All along they had photographs of all the vents on the roof prior to laying the roof, and they never bothered to check their own photographs.  So I paid for the appliance repair people to come out and look and the dryer checked out fine and again they said it was the vent.  I told Stay-Dry I would have to spend money on someone else to come out  if they didn't take care of it and I would look to them to pay for that.  Only then did they came out with the photograph and fix it.  I was without a working dryer for quite a while.

About four months after the roof was installed we developed a leak - a very serious leak that destroyed the ceiling in our bedroom walk-in closet (the ceiling material hanging off, many stains).  They came out right away but told us the roof was fine and the problem was just "whooshing wind," as if this is even a plausible explanation.  They said they resealed the chimney just to be sure.   They asked us to draw around the leak stains on the ceiling so we  could tell if it leaked again.  It did.

They have now stopped answering our communications about this leak and we are now having to pay another roofing company $3,100 to repair it.  The roofing company that is repairing it inspected it and said the chimney was never sealed, and they suspect flashing problems as well due to the large amount of leaking (extent of damage to the interior ceiling) and the squishiness of the roof near the chimney.  I paid extra to Stay-Dry for the extra long warranty but they will not honor it.  They don't provide any explanations - just silence.

I'd like to say my review ends there, but it doesn't.   This company (Dave in particular) sold me a solar attic fan for $750 to be installed along with the new roof, telling me it would come with a remote where I can see the temperature in the attic space and control it.  After they were all finished I asked repeatedly for the manufacturer paperwork and remote for the fan and they never provided it.  When I recently had my roof inspected by the new company who will repair the leak, it was a warm, sunny afternoon, and the fan they installed and charged $750 for was not running.

I chose Stay-Dry because they had good reviews, but mostly because they have been in business for such a long time.    But everyone I dealt with was very young and this is obviously not the company it once was.

Very good company stay dry roofing. Stay dry replaced my house roof in a very fast. Once they was done with the work it seems like they was never here except the brand new roof
