If I could give These guys 10 stars I would. I had storm damage and I had a local company reach out in July to me. It took them 2 months to get a shingle sample- I reached out to Mario at State and he took over with my insurance company and within a week he had a crew at my house and have a beautiful new dimensional shingled roof. Mario and his crew are top notch and didn’t have a single roofing nail anywhere to so they did a great job cleaning up as well. Thanks Mario and State Construction!

State Construction has not properly fixed/repaired damage their roofing crew created due to improperly re-mounting a DirecTV satellite dish. Satellite dishes need to be properly mounted and calibrated by authorized techs, not roofing personnel. I spoke with the owner, Mario, about this issue. State Construction finally sent someone out to fix the holes 2 months later, although simply used black tar or caulk and plugged the holes. The repair looks terrible and is not correctly repaired, per the owner's stated method. See the attached photos for reference or their 'fix' due to their staff incorrectly re-mounting the dish. The dish wouldn't have been functional as mounted. State Construction was paid the entire invoice amount. I've left numerous voicemails, emails and text messages, with no reply in the last 6 weeks. And still haven't recurved any reply as to why they repaired the new roof that way, and when they can make it right. Aside from the specific issue above, they are terrible at communication. We found out that they were coming to replace our roof one day before, and while we were out of state on vacation. Never received notice about their schedule. I had originally communicated to their sales office that I did not want the roof installed in the cold weather of late Fall or Winter, and would wait until Spring/Summer. This was also recommended by the independent roofing engineer. They don't have physical samples of shingles to review and choose from. Damaged a number of shrubs at the front of our house. Cleanup wasn't the best - pieces of shingles and nails stuck in gutters and between house & gutters. There are too many good roofing companies out there to settle for this one. Do your homework and don't sign any contracts before they go up on your roof. This is the only company that required that, or else I would have moved on to a different company.

Brian, first of I would like to apologize for the delay in your request. Due to Covid -19 we have seen an extreme back log in the follow up on non emergency warranty claims. Furthermore please let me address your 1 star review and make sure you are taken care of properly and efficiently. In our contract it clearly states that if you have a Satellite dish installed ON the roof or have it adjusted by an outside source, this voids the current warranty. It seems that our crew reinstalled the satellite dish which is not part of our procedures however you are saying here they did in fact put it back up! Then you had the dish adjusted (or) moved creating holes in the roof. I sent out my service crew twice to make sure your roof was secure and weather tight, So I'm not sure where the confusion is here. As far as the rest of the clean up this should have been addressed back at the time of installation not 9 months later ,if there was an issue. Lets talk about Communication: Your Claim by Nationwide was inspected and approved on 10/25/2019. We had tried for months with out success to get ahold of you to finalize your project. we finally had to sent out our demand letter to get your attention. We finally received the initial down payment May 11, 2020 SMACK IN THE MIDDLE of covid - 19 we were working franticly to get projects completed in the middle of a pandemic. Im sorry you had delays and a small issue with some of the services we offer but by no means do I think you chose the wrong company.
