  Happy Anniversary to Starkweather Roofing! 20 years ago today on 3/7/1997, we were awarded our first job - an asphalt built-up roof on a Boston Market located at the southwest corner of S. Alma School Rd. and W. Main St. in Mesa, AZ. It's now a Burger King, but that roof is still on the building keeping the inside dry... so they can enjoy the rain.

  I worked for this company about a year and a half. Safety is horrible for the employees. I was injured on the roof during a heat wave advisory of 115 degrees plus. It took 3 and a half hours to get me off due to starkweather not wanting to call emergency services for help. My family ended up calling 911 and they said if I couldn't safely be removed from the roof within 10 minutes they should of been called sooner to help. Due to my family calling 911 and stepping in for my safety I was terminated. The owner of the company Jeff Starkweather had no sympathy also telling my wife and myself that we would be sorry and screwed in the end for taking my health into our own hands by filing worker's compensation. Also the superintendents are very rude to there employees calling them names and degrading them. Not a company I Would recommend

  I hired Starkweather to replace my roof & sustained the first leak I have had in nearly 40 years & other roofers. It cost me a bit over $8500. for this leak and I will say they did come out and repair it when I first found it. It took a while we do live in a very dry state. Is it fixed?? I hope so we have not had much rain since the repair. HOWEVER the damage to the ceiling in the house remains unrepaired. Starkweather DOES NOT fix that even though they caused it. I have not hired any one to fix it since I am still not sure the roof does not leak!! It makes me sick every time I look at it but if I get it repaired & still have a leak I would have to do it again!! WHAT A MESS. I cannot go up and even look at the repair (I am a 75 yr old woman with knee replacements) not that I would know by looking anyhow. I gave them 3 stars since they were always punctual and here when they said and left the job clean.
