  I had several ice dam issues around my roof, some of which were causing structural damage to my home. Southwest Water and Ice Solutions installed gutters with Gutter Helmets & Helmet Heat in some areas, and serpentined heat cables along the roof edge in others. A year later after similar weather, I no longer have these damaging ice build ups. (See before and after pictures.) An installation the size of mine (585' of heat cable) will significantly increase your electric bill if the system is operated as directed. However, the time saved clearing snow off the roof, chipping away ice buildups, and preventing structural damage was worth the cost to me. The guys who came out to do the installation were always on-time, friendly, and did a great job. A very professional operation from start to finish.

  We had both Gutter Helmet and Gutter Heat along with cable installed in December. Installation went smoothly and quickly with very little noise or commotion. The installers were courteous and punctual. The products have been doing a superior of keeping the snow and ice away from the eaves and valleys. Furthermore we had a problem with an unidentified leak which turned out to be our refrigerator that Aaron and Cam diagnosed after careful inspection of the roof and attic. Just the fact that they came to the house at the end of a full day of work for another client speaks volumes towards the extra care this firm takes for its customers.

  I had the gutter helmet installed with thermal tape integrated. The company is very professional and responsive. The communication was clear and pricing concise. The gutter helmet took care of two issue. First the rain is diverted into the gutter while trash and solids pass over the gutter. Secondly it takes care of snow dam issues with the integrated thermal tape. This makes it a good value. The company sent me an appreciation gift that I wasn’t expecting. Not to many companies do that. Very pleased!
