  Speaking with Jimmy (the owner) he came out and gave me a quote approximately 2 years prior to get my roof done. Life happened and Murphy's law took effect my AC went out. I made contact with Jimmy and advised him he was the MOST REASONABLE quote i got that i was still going to use his company but my priority was getting the ac fixed. 2 years later i called him and told him i was ready to proceed with getting my roof done. 3 Days after i called Jimmy, his crew was at my house to do the job. Speaking with the job supervisor (Austin) the shift was a little short due to sickness but that did not stop them, his crew worked non stop all day into the dark to finish the job. When the crew finished the construction portion of the job Austin assured me that they cleaned up as much as he could see but he would be back on the following day to do a thorough clean up being it was dark when they finished, (which was fine by me). Austin was back first thing the next morning and cleaned up so well you could not even tell they were there. On to the roofing portion of the job, IT LOOKS GREAT i am very pleased with the professionalism, quality of work and pricing that South side Exteriors provided! i would recommend them 100 more times if i have the opportunity.

  Very poor service ethics with this owner and employees. As contractor's you would think a colleague would show a little more respect but it doesn't happen these days with far too many companies. From other reviews I can see we're not alone. The excuse about bad reception and emergency nonsense is too easy an excuse for lazy company's to use. Southside Exteriors was suppose to give my company an exterior siding quote and we couldn't even get Austin to remember, even though he admitted to writing it down. After not hearing from the owner or anyone else, my husband finally reached him when we were told he "declined" the job. We work on old homes doing complete transformations and apparently the job was too difficult for this guy. We had to call him to find this out. He couldn't be bothered to show enough courtesy that 1 minute phone call would take in order to tell us this. This is just one more example of the pitiful state on the construction industry. I would not recommend this company. And don't believe his lame excuses when he responds to this review .........There is no excuse for not communicating, period.

  Excellent job, quality roofing, great results... We requested a quote from several roofing companies, and Southside Exteriors was the most reasonable quote received. They, Jimmy and Austin, were patient with us through some insurance delays. Once we made our initial payment, we were on the schedule days later for our roof replacement. On installation day, with the threat of rain late that afternoon and through the upcoming weekend, they showed up early in the morning ready to get it done. They finished the job and cleaned up prior to the rain beginning! Awesome job, would highly recommend this company. We would definitely consider using their services again... we are very pleased with our new architectural roof.
