  I first hired Smitty in 2008 to build a small addition with skylights on to my house to use as a studio. I couldn't be happier with his work. It was clear from the beginning that he knew exactly what he was doing, and the project was finished in a timely manner and has never had a problem. From then on, I have called him for every job I need done, large and small. He has replaced the tin roof (and added 6' skylights) to my circa 1922 house, completely remodeled the kitchen and two bathrooms, turned my drafty, dingy attic into a usable room with storage space, and much else. When he has sub-contractors, he vouches for their work and makes sure they are up to his standard. If there is ever a problem - and there rarely is - he comes out ASAP to fix it. He is smart, honest, hard-working and as far as I'm concerned, the #1 contractor in this region. I'm delighted to give him a 5 star review!
