Smiley Siding and Roofing were subcontracted to install Hardie board siding on one side of my house. They did not install according to manufacturer specifications. They did not use butt joint flashing or the correct galvanized siding nails. They did not leave the correct gaps above flashing and at the edges of trim to properly caulk. They left gaps between numerous boards that I will need to install flashing behind myself. They did not replace my 30 year old tar paper. They did not fix an area of plywood sheathing that was missing from the original home build as requested. They also left a bunch of trash behind. The WERE fast, so if you don't care about quality, these are your guys.
