I am writing this review on behalf of my friend. The Bollingers used Simpson Roofing and were very pleased with the work. Hunter was on time and very responsive to any questions. The job was finished and was a quality repair and they are very pleased!
Response from the owner
Stephanie, thank you on behalf of the Bollinger’s, and on behalf of Simpson Roofing, Thank you for the business! One thing if I may, it was a full roof replacement, not a repair. Sincerely Hunter

I was fooled by the reviews here on google. There is no way this business could earn this kind of reviews. I am glad that some people had good experience with this business. Check out my review on Angi's website for this guy. Simply put things that went wrong with roof repair at my home. 1. Wrong color shingles were installed. Quoted for Peuter grey and installed black. Repair performed on May 3. my HOA complained about it and i am to get them changed. Not using this company again. 2. Roof leaked after a month. Lesson learned, hose the repair down the same day to make sure leaks do not appear. Reported the leak, but i was out of town at that time. Conversation was very unprofessional. I did not want to deal with this business so did not bother calling back once in town as i did not notice any moisture there after. I hoped that shingles did set in or tar got cured and repair is leak proof. 3. had a day of drizzling rain because of storm Ida Aug 31. Sent some pictures and response was I quote "It was a repair. For a couple Hundred bucks. I do not believe, there was a warranty given. You can comment or leave reviews as you see fit. Whose to say how long it should last, roofs leak all the time, repairs, or full roof replacements, “your time manner or judgement here so on a repair” doesn’t mean it’s correct or wrong, a roof can leak 1 ray after repaired or replaced or could leak 9 months or 7 years" Not sure how to understand the above conversation. Leave it up to folks to decide. Thank you. I was requested to put more information by Mr.Hunter. March 18 Initial Contact. - Roof inspected, soft spot detected. Tarp installed at owner request to prevent further damage as i work through my insurance. Paid $200 for the visit, even though it was not requested. I insisted he take in and if possible he could reduce on the roof replacement or on further work. May 3rd - Roof repair scheduled. Quoted $600 in total (-$200 already paid). I volunteered to get matching shingles. I was told, no need. Installed black shingles instead. on the day of repair, when enquired about soft spot, was told none detected or no OSB board repair needed (contrary to the claim in response). put in shingles instead of the tarp in the damage area. The person carrying out the repair did not even take the plastic sheet on the roof to detect damage. He tapped with his tools to detect soft spot. Hey i am not a professional, who am i to advise as long as the repair is done. Obviously more than once was i wrong. May 17th - Reported leak in the attic. Wasn't home for repairs to be performed. Mr.Hunter said they could repair without me being home. I softly denied since, if any more leak happens when i am not home, because they cannot validate the repair from inside, it may ruin my home. Been checking since then when it rains to see any moisture. I did not see any, so was happy that i did not have to call them again. Aug 31- Leak detected, this time promptly reported with pictures and hence his response. I find it surprising that this business does work with so many customers and how they can keep track of their conversation. while i talked to only this Person and i remember every detail.
Response from the owner
First off. At the time of installation no supply house “I personally contacted, 3 separate ones” had the exact match in stock, due to “covid” and “deliveries”, I also did not have the exact match on hand either, as this specific shingle is not a commonly used color. “Out of my control, was putting your home first.” Second off. “Putting myself in your shoes” Say my roof leaked a month after a repair was installed by a contractor and the contractor agreed to fixing such repair, at that point in time I personally would have let them, regardless if I/you was out of town or not. “Put yourself in my shoes.”Not wait “3 more months” then contact them/me to fix the repair, “also at this point, the repair has exceeded the warranty duration per our discussion and that was granted upon your request”. Therefore a warranty would not be valid or in tact. Third off. However, Your HOA does not require a specific color on each and all home’s within your community! There are other home’s within your neighborhood, on your street, at that much less your neighbor, as if that is not enough, even directly across the street from you! That have repair’s with mix matched color’s. Also, full roof replacement’s have been installed with a different color throughout your community. Softly replied Hunter Simpson

Me and my husband also got our info from HomeAdvisor, Mr. Simpson has excellent crews, and does an excellent job himself. He definitely out did him self on our home, he upgraded us for free, he talked us into changing our color of the roof, and changed the entire look of Our home, he told us two days on the work and it only took one. Mr. Simpson did a splendid job. We recommend him
