I had an urgent problem that included a significant water leak onto my living room floor near the fireplace. Thinking I had a roofing issue, I called Justin @ Sherriff Goslin who came out that day to climb up and inspect my roof around my stone chimney (which made it a much bigger problem especially since winter was starting to rear its ugly head).  It turns out that the discovery (via the attic inspection) that the leak’s origin was a chimney problem (not a roofing problem) did not stop the Sherriff Goslin crew from spending man-hours trying to seal the chimney in bitter cold, windy, snowy conditions.  I am still in awe of this service and will definitely use them in the future.  Very impressed!

Mike did an excellent job communicating. He let me know what would be done and when it would be completed. His roofing crew did a wonderful job on my farm home. When hit by straight line winds thirteen days after roofing project was completed, a large tree limb had landed on the roof. They came right away to repair the damage. I recenty called Sherriff Goslin for a roof inspection and set up an appointment with Mike Woodhouse. He showed up at the scheduled time and performed a roof inspection. He found that some of the roof vents needed to be sealed and proceeded to do this on the spot. He advised roof did not need to be replaced yet, but gave an estimate of when this would likely need to be done. He did not charge me for this visit and said just to keep them in mind when roof needed replacement. He was professional and courteous. We will be calling them when we do need a new roof.

I don’t write a lot of excessively glowing reviews. When I do, it’s because a company has truly impressed upon me that they deserve recognition.  Sheriff-Goslin (SG) is one of those companies. My experience:  I called SG to come take a look at my old roof. Mike (great fella!) discovered my roof had hail damage. I called my insurance company per Mike’s suggestion to see if the roof would be covered. It was. Long story short… new roof covered by my insurance that I would never have considered on my own.  Mike, Jeff, Aiden and their crew of exceptional roofers came one morning, tore off the old roof, worked all day, put down a new roof and finished the next morning with cleanup. And speaking of cleanup, these guys were constantly walking around the perimeter of the house with magnets to pick up any and all stray nails that might have fallen. Great attention to detail!  Price was right in the ballpark with what my insurance company said it should cost. Materials used were first rate - - actually exceeding what I thought was available.  Communication excellent- - Mike, Jeff… proactively would reach out to me to ensure all issues were addressed before, during and after the project. I didn’t have to sweat a single detail. Finally, under the heading, “Sometimes you get MORE than you pay for”, roof looks great, roof works great, guys were great, guarantee is great, price was great, the whole damn experience was great from start to finish! We had the pleasure of dealing with Justin Reynolds and his team (including Mike and Jeff). Everyone was prompt, professional, and pleasant to deal with answering numerous of my concerns. Our house had a substantial leak in the lower roofs, and Mr. Reynolds was both prompt in helping us survive over winter (placing tarp for no charge while we were non-clients) prior to spring, and in having his team out to repair the roof as soon as everything thawed.

I have had numerous negative experiences with contractors in the past, but found everyone at Sherriff-Goslin to be wonderful. Mr. Reynolds answered a hundred questions on my end and was excellent about maintaining the historical concerns we had with repairing the lower roof. He also was upfront and had wonderful clarity in regards to pricing and necessity of repairs. I never felt pressured to purchase more than I needed or to repair the upper roof or garage roof at this time. Mike and his team did a fantastic job replacing old rotten wood and probably 30 years of nasty tar past tenants had slopped over the old roof to tie everything together. They also kept me notified of ongoing repairs and scheduling concerns. Jeff also did a fine job repairing the fascia after the work was done.

Overall we have been very happy with experience and would recommend Sherriff-Goslin in the future. Thank you to everyone involved!

For the third time, I've had to call Sherriff-Goslin roofing for service.  They installed my roof originally about 13 years ago.  This was in the winter and they did a surprisingly amazing installation.  About five years ago, I again had an issue and called for assistance.  They responded immediately and the problem was fixed within an hour. It was not their work that caused the issue.  Mother Nature had overwhelmed my roof with snow and ice. Today, we again had an issue from Mother Nature with algae, leaves and other droppings from trees.  Mike came out and within a matter of minutes had the issue resolved and made recommendation to prevent these problems in the future.  I highly recommend this company for any roofing issues.  They have an excellent product and back up their product with excellent follow-up and warranty service.
