We utilized Servepro services after a fire started in our basement, under our kitchen sink in our home. Thankfully, the fire was able to be contained to under our kitchen sink, and that area had the most fire damage. The day that we were able to return to our home, the 2 women responsible for cleaning our home were literatly sitting in our driveway, in the Servepro van, smoking cigarettes. When we walked into our home the " bonfire smoke" smell was still heavily present. Upon our initial inspection, the kitchen was poorly cleaned- the very area where the fire had occurred. The outside of our cupboards still had debris/soot on them- to the point where I could run my finger threw it and quite a bit of grime was still present. The 2 women were still in the van in our driveway, so I ran outside and asked them if they could come in as I was unhappy with the clean. I was met with attitude and such a lack of unprofessionalism, that I was taken aback and quite intimidated by their behavior. When I showed them the cupboards, again I was spoken to with attitude and shown picture frames and other items that were "cleaned", and 1 lady even stated that she took it upon herself to clean a tote of our kitchen items that she had found in our basement (I had packed these items up after the fire, as I did not want them touched, thus placing them in a tote, in the basement) when she "didn't have to touch them". I asked why the furniture wasn't cleaned as well ,to which the first reply I recieved was "Oh yes they were most certainly cleaned", and after I asked her to smell the furniture, to which she also agreed that they continued to smell like smoke, she stated "well, that's not our department, and you'll have to call them, not us". After several minutes of these two women debating with me, even arguing with me about the clean, they went out to the van and grabbed a filthy rag, no cleaning supplies whatsoever, and came back in and "rewiped" only the cupboards that I had pointed out issues with. At this point, because of their very confrontational attitudes, and lack of even putting forth any effort into re-cleaning the cupboards(after they left, I could still wipe soot off of the cupboards with my finger), I asked them to leave. We further inspected our kitchen and found several areas that hadn't even been touched at all. The floor cupboards directly next to the kitchen sink where the fire was the most prominent were not even touched. When we opened these cupboards, the smoke smell was so heavy that my fiancé actually took a step back and gagged! I could literatly run my finger threw the soot on the items in these cupboards. Not 1 cupboard in the kitchen had even been opened or cleaned - when we opened them we were met with the same overwhelming smoke smell and soot mess as the first cupboards we opened! Our stove top wasn't cleaned, only the top part wiped, noted by the debris and soot still in the drip pans. The inside of the stove hadn't been touched, as once again, I could run my finger threw the soot on the floor of the oven. The tote in the basement that the one lady so proudly and rudely told me she hand wiped all items in, had a coffee cup in it that still had a coffee ring on the inside of it! All these areas were the sources of the continued smoke smell. A call was placed to the main office, clearly, and 2 days later I opened the door and was met with the same two ladies that did the initial "clean", with their same condescending attitudes and just plain rude behavior, smelling like cigarettes so strongly, that I was actually relieved to shut the door and smell the bonfire smell that continues to linger in my home! They were not coming back into my home to disrespect me and/or pretend to clean. It was so disheartening to have such a traumatic experience happen, which was no fault of my own, have to pack up my family and "live" in a hotel room(we have 2 boys, 13 and 10, and let me tell ya, living in a tiny hotel room was no walk in the park) to have to come back to OUR HOME to this.

Septic backup into my basement which left a horrible mess. My insurance agent contacted 4 companies, but Servpro was the only company that responded. This was fortunate as Beau, Mark and Fernando arrived at 9:30 and had all the debris removed, the floors completely cleaned and sanitized, and totes cleaned and stacked. By 3:30, they were gone, leaving dehumidifiers and fans for 3 day. We highly recommend the first class, professional and efficient service.

Beau and Rey were fantastic and really helped out and made me feel confident that the damage was under control. They took all necessary steps to stay professional and ensure that the water damage was limited to a certain area.
