Schwartz has completed a couple of big projects for us, roof, windows, siding and back porch. They have been great to work with. They showed up on time, called me if there was a problem and did exactly what they said they would do. His crew is hard-working and honest. They have been excellent to work with.

Our experience with Schwartz and sons was excellent. They rebuilt our deck floor, hand rails, and stairway in less than a day and a half. Their workmanship was top notch! They were very courteous and professional. They were here on time which we appreciate very much. At the end of the job there was no mess or anything left out of place. We are so happy with their work that we are planing our next project with them. Highly recommend their services!!!!!!!

After 2 days of consideration, I feel it important to address the unprofessonalism I faced during a 7 minute phone call regarding a roof/deck addition estimate. David called me back in great time after leaving my message. However, when I told him what I was looking for (a metal roof and possible deck addition w/covered roof) and asked if he might come to offer an estimate, he asked me what my budget was. I'm not ignorant, I understand there is a cost associated with services performed but my budget is my business. After another minute, discussing the proposed work I would like done, David asked, "Are you SURE this is in your budget?" I'm pretty sure I stuttered at him. I'm a woman. I'm single. I am the sole provider and financier of my life. Unless your material/labor prices are a direct reflection of "my budget", that budget is absolutely none of your concern and I cannot imagine that when men call you to request estimates, you ask THEM if they're "sure" they can afford the work they are asking for. After one more minute or 2, he said there would be a 50$ estimate fee for him to come and propose an estimate. When I said I was not interested in paying for the estimate, he added that the 50$ comes off the price of the completed work. I told him that it was an awfully big assumption that he would have the best bid for the job and that I would find other contractors to estimate my work WITHOUT a fee and he told me, "good luck finding one." I hope this company provides excellent service. I hope that anyone who uses these gentlemen for their work are completely satisfied. I also hope they read this review and take steps to correct the way they speak to potential clients in the future. Gender does not indicate ignorance, and unfortunately, I cannot understand what other factor may have lead this man to speak to me as if I was ignorant.
