Safelite in Muskegon was amazing. The techs were polite and professional. They made me aware of the warranty on the product and let me know what things I needed to do aftercare wise.

On Wednesday I scheduled an appointment for windshield replacement to be done at my location on Friday. The next day, Thursday, I received a call that due to too few techs, I would have to come to their location which is quite a distance from me. Further, I was informed that waiting room space would be limited, so I should plan to drop off my car. I would be traveling there alone with no transportation and nowhere to go in frigid snowy winter weather. Very unhappy. I suppose it is due to pandemic, but I cancelled my appointment and will not use their service in future.

Maybe check with a different safelite, I’ve had a good experience with safelite before. This last visit has left me very disappointed with the service performed. My car now has many new scratches that are from the techs poor work. On top of that the “new” window I paid for has 2 lines in it that warp my view. The tech also decided to take it upon himself to have an extended lunch. I get it people need to eat and take a break. Don’t tell someone you will be at your place of work at a certain time and then not show up until 20 minutes after that time. The bare minimum the tech could have done was apologize for wasting my time waiting on him. I’ll probably look elsewhere in the future for a window replacement. For sure never using this one by the Muskegon Airport ever again.
