  I absolutely do NOT recommend working with this company unless you enjoy calling multiple times to get answers about billing and when your job will be completed. I’ve been working with this company for 16 months and the job STILL has not been completed. My neighbor recommended this company to me after the hail storms in 2018 required roof replacement. She was met by Brett Strike who boasted the company was local and wouldn’t just take the money and run so she felt comfortable working with them and recommending them. She’s had her own issues with then, but she can leave her own review as I can only speak on my experience. For weeks Brett Strike and Nate Black told me they couldn’t start my job because they were waiting to hear back from my insurance. I got tired of waiting after months went by and called my insurance to see what the hold up was. It was at that point I was told by my insurance NO ONE from Accoy contracting had EVER reached out or started a job on my behalf. I sent an email to Nate Black about his lie and minutes later Brett Strike called me to say they were doing the roof the next day. I should have said no and went with someone else but because everyone in Colorado Springs was impacted by this storm, other roof companies were backed up for months. My roof was done the next day but it would be weeks later that the gutters would be replaced and that was only because I kept calling. In the Fall of 2019 a county inspector came out to inspect the work of Accoy Contracting and my roof failed. It was then I was able to go online and see that Accoy Contracting only pulled a permit on my home to do work a year AFTER the job was completed. I called Nate Black about the issue and he said he wasn’t surprised the roof failed inspection but he couldn’t help me because he didn’t work for Accoy Contracting anymore. He gave me the owner’s information and I sent Joe Nikovics an email in October 2019 about my roof failing. He immediately responded and said he had no record of my roof failing but would call the county and fix my roof “as soon as possible.” Two weeks went by and I didn’t hear from him so I pulled the failed inspection report myself and emailed it to him and asked when it would be fixed. Seven weeks went by and I sent another message asking when it would be fixed. It’s now been 13 weeks since Joe Nikovics has responded to my messages. No phone calls from him or Brett Strike have been returned. They have been paid by my insurance and myself and at this point I have concluded that this company is completely unprofessional and will not follow up since they have their money.
