  Though our project was admittedly on the small side of things, we could not be happier with our choice to go with Rolling Ridge. From the get go, we found their team to be responsive and timely. Their bid was competitive and reflected their very solid work. With COVID and the number of home projects going on, we knew that it would months and months before the Rolling Ridge crew get to us, but Jason was able to work with us and fit in our job ahead of projected timelines. The guys on site were friendly and professional. They did a wonderful job cleaning up after themselves so our little guys and the dogs would net get into anything. Thank you, Jason, and all the crew at Rolling Ridge!

  Note sent to the owner, Barry: Dear Barry: I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for a job well-done by Rolling Ridge. As I mentioned when first set out to have a deck built, my plan was to utilize someone that works on their own. My thinking was I wanted to select the person that actually would do the work. After a bad experience and failed-start with that approach, I elected to give Rolling Ridge a try. I saw pictures of your work and met with you and liked you. However, I had no idea who would actually do the work. I continued in trust with Rolling Ridge. I could not be more pleased with Andrew and Joe. The attention to detail Andrew had, and imparted to Joe, is top notch. My wife and I are both Civil Engineers and we care about detail and have high standards. The foundation and supports were diligently thought through in terms of placement and proper anchoring. Everything was measured out exactly, leveled perfectly, planed for smooth surface, etc. Communication from Andrew was excellent. Andrew went above and beyond to add ideas to make the project even better. He took the time to understand what we were trying to accomplish, think through solutions, and make recommendations. I received several texts from him after hours where he had an improvement idea he wanted to run by me. As a result of Andrew’s attention to detail and thoughtful over-the-top thinking, the deck/covered dog-run has exceeded my expectations. And then there are the softer side of things. Professionalism was excellent. Everyone who showed up on site was a pleasure the deal with and had a great, helpful attitude. Andrew was always friendly, took the time to explain things, ask and answer questions, and genuinely understand our goals. Joe was also very professional, friendly, and “yes, sir” to everything. Both were a genuine pleasure to have around. We will kind of miss our friends outside now that the project is reaching completion. Finally, I manage large consulting engineering offices. I have found the way to be successful is to hire the best, treat them well, and give them the space to do their job. That includes freedom to set schedules, deal with customers, make decisions… simply do what they are good at. Micromanaging “so-so” staff does not produce results. The space and freedom Andrew and your crew had to do their job speaks well of you, Barry. I would encourage you to continue giving that freedom with casual check-ins. Again, I appreciate a job well-done and would happily allow you to show people your work here. This was a unique project with some interesting challenges. Thank you for being up to challenge and producing a deck/dog-run we will enjoy for years to come.

  Beautiful work! Exactly what we wanted in a deck. Excellent craftsmanship. Our house will fall down before the deck goes anywhere. Had a concern with some leakage below. Shane came back out 3 years later (no charge) and took some items apart and we discovered that it was not the deck at all, but helped me determine the root cause. A truly professional company that lives up to their work and word.
